Andrea got up with a headache the next morning, but her excitement for meeting a man who made her emotions run wide at her new job quickly overpowered it. While she got ready she assessed her bruised neck from the night before. And that's all it seemed to be, a very nasty bruise that covered several inches of the nape of her neck. So whatever had happened last night, it hadn't been as weird as she thought. She kept telling herself that as she covered the mark with concealer and foundation, hoping that it blended well enough with her skin then she would raise no eyebrows because no one will ever know such a thing happened to her.

Just to be safe, and free from the busy body at her workplace she wore a high-necked collared shirt and buttoned it to the top. On final assessment, she looked unquestionably professional and not at all like she'd let an unbelievably gorgeous man chomp on her neck in an alley behind a bar. She thought though if he turned out to be a vampire she would need to reassess the situation.

Smiling at the thought she headed into her car for the bar and didn't even mind the mild traffic jamming the streets. The ride passed quickly, and almost before she knew it she sat inside the reception area of Bar Virginia and waited for her new supervisor Joyce McKenna to come to give her new job descriptions.  As communicate to her early this morning through a text message.

The company wasn't doing so well and so her boss thought they need to change the way they ran the business by bringing in new ideas and hoping it goes well.

A tall woman whose physique commanded some respect walked into the office. She wore a light purple business suit and her curly hair was held back by a silver headband.

She approached Andrea's seat, "Andrea Sheldon?"

Andrea stood and offered a hand, nodding. "Miss Jo…?" She stammered have not memorized her name well from the text messages. On seeing her she regretted she hadn't paid much attention to her introduction through the phone text.

The woman laughed, "Joyce, please." She called out her name properly, "Let me show you what your new job description entails around the bar before we get you started for the day." Joyce nodded to the new receptionist and took Andrea through the door which leads to the rest of the facility. They walked down halls painted a stark white, the color only broken up by the portraits of past and present benefactors of the bar, and various pictures of wild wolves and other predators were painted on the wall.  She met several of her new coworkers and almost thought she couldn't remember the layout of the place before her coworker handed her the new badge for her new position. Everything show seemed different in her view but she was well.

Andrea has always wanted to ask why a bar would have such creatures as decor paints on the wall. It didn't make sense to her but then when she remembered that a man she met last night had bruised her neck she got more concerned about the reason behind the pictures on the wall. She made up her mind to investigate it from that moment. She wanted to know who the man that bruised her neck was.

"Thanks," Andrea said as she tucked the ID card in with the rest of her belongings into her purse.

"I'll need to take a photocopy of your driving license and work permit for our records. You can if you just want to wait in my office right here." They walked into one of the biggest offices on the floor. It overlooked the city of Elkton out of two windows and could easily accommodate ten or more people. Andrea sat in a chair and dug through her bag to find her wallet.

She flipped through each of her cards twice before pulling the stack out of her wallet and going through them one by one. She looked back at Joyce sheepishly, "It looks like I left my driving and work permit license at home. I can get it for you after lunch if that's alright?"

Joyce looked her over for a moment, "I suppose that will work. But we can't go into the work until we have it, it's a security thing. Do you need water or something?" Joyce asked, approaching the refrigerator. She seems to taste and dehydrated.

Andrea shook her head. "I've already done the background and medical tests, what good is my license?" She smiled. The heat in the room hit her all of the sudden and she shrugged out of her

jacket. "Is it alright if I leave my jacket here?"

"Yea sure you can Andrea," Joyce replied.

Joyce stood and grabbed a small bottle of water from the mini-fridge beside her desk, "You don't look too good right now, are you sure you're all right?"

Now glad for the water,  Andrea uncorked it and drained it in two gulps. Sweat beaded on her forehead and she fanned herself. "I felt fine this morning."

"Yeah you could have but your mood doesn't tell you are fine at the moment. Can I help you?" Joyce glared at Andrea with her arm crossed over her chest. It is being a while she saw someone who came to work being sick at the point of duty. Andrea knew what was going on with her. She knew it didn't have to do with anything rather than Adrian because she hoped she hadn't left her missing document in his possession. The thought of meeting him for the second time isn't going to be a good idea and rosy.

It is been for her years since a man touch her as he did and she left so much affection that she didn't want to let him go. Will she have to go through the same feeling and still not have a close relationship with such a person? She thought. Andrea had wanted to take out this weekend to attend to her health. She had been feeling a bit weak and lacking enthusiasm for doing little house chores so she thought it would be good she returned to the gymnasium and get back to her fitness level.
