Avery Elise’s P. O. V.

I couldn’t be more shocked by the fact that they’re all bidding with millions of dollars for a diamond gem that I’m not even interested in. I would stop my very best to grimace from time to time whenever I would hear the prices that they want to bid for the gems.

“Don’t you want to bid?” I heard Duke whisper beside me. “I pushed on holding this event so you could attend and have your fun.”

I glanced at Duke beside me before I bit my bottom lip and shake my head at him, “I don’t have money.”

Duke’s face was emotionless when he look back at me from watching the bidders.
