4. The Lord of Jazmore

No matter how much she understands and adjusts, in fact Megan is still fixated on what happened to her. Her days are nothing but trying to be a girl like Ann doing homework, while occasionally visiting plantations or ports. She missed the morning where the first thing she did was check the timeline on every social media account she had.

The only striking thing Megan notices is Rudo's anxiety every time she comes home. Usually the man will only read a few books borrowed by Ann from the local library while enjoying a brew of unfected coffee. But this time she could see Rudo who seemed to be sitting face down with his eyes down.

Megan tried to get close to the man. However, she is indebted to Rudo and Ann who are ready to accommodate her. She didn't imagine being anywhere else, not sure if it would be as good as she was at Rudo's house.

Megan's buttocks sit on a wooden bench in the living room, where Rudo is currently. It just so happens that she was told by Ann to wait outside the kitchen, after making the woman's pancakes burnt.

''Is there a problem with the delivery of goods?'' Megan started by talking about Rudo's efforts.

Realizing Megan's arrival makes Rudo look at her at first glance.

''No,'' Rudo said quickly. ''I heard that the German side has surrendered to the allies.''

Megan sneered from her seat. She showed a happy face, when she should not have been a pester, because she had known sixty-five years in which she was.

''Look what I said!'' Megan didn't expect that it was now in May.

Rudo looked up slightly at Megan who was still standing with a big smile. ''Means you really come from the future?''

Megan folded her hands in front of her chest. ''Wow, so you've been doubting my every word,'" she smirked.

Rudo nodded quietly. ''However it doesn't make sense to me... Then what's after?''

The hiss came out of Megan's lips. She went back to high school thinking and recalling history. ''After the defeat of Germany, the second world war ended, then continued the Cold War if I'm not mistaken.''

''Cold War?'' Rudo's voice is barely audible. It's as if it's the next period of suffering.

Megan laughed quietly. ''It is no longer a war like a World War, but rather to some countries vying to strengthen their defenses and military strength. A kind of ceasefire, which is heavily influenced by the political aspect.''

''And after that the world begins to enter progress?''

Megan snaps a finger, justifies Rudo's words. "Yes, at least starting in 2000, the world is really making great progress. Especially in the field of technology.''

Question after question began to be rolled out by Rudo who was interested in Megan's story, until Ann called the two for dinner.

The day continues with spring nearing the end of its time this year, and will change with summer. If yesterday Rudo in Megan's eyes was quite agitated, but nowadays she can really see how nervous, restless even afraid of Rudo's eyes. The man doesn't even taste eating, even though his face is tired after a long day's work. When Megan tries to extract information from Ann, Rudo's daughter doesn't know either. But one small clue for Megan is that Rudo often tells her and Ann not to go out at night. Especially when the full moon shines bright.

Megan's forehead scrunched one morning. Her eyes were still closed, but the sound of crying made her body jerk, until she woke up. She then came out of the room and found Ann in the living room crying.

''What's up Ann?'' Megan asked shocked.

Ann didn't answer with a voice, but instead cheered Megan a piece of paper.

Megan's hand grabbed the paper. She could see quite beautiful handwriting there, but the contents were truly shocking. In a nutshell she could conclude that Rudo is currently held captive by someone and no one should know anything other than herself and Ann.

''Movaro?'' Megan read about the place name indicated in the letter.

''It's a remote area on the Norwegian border,''Ann explained.

''Is that far from here?'' Megan asked with a muddled mind. She doesn't know Dasfor well yet and Rudo is now in danger!

Ann considers the distance and time it takes to reach Movaro. ''About six hours from here by bike.''

Megan took a deep breath. ''I get it. Let's get ready to go. Didn't the one who sent it ask us to go straight there?''

Ann stared doubtfully at Megan. But she tried to strengthen herself, given that hser father may now be in danger. ''Well, we have to get there before sundown, because it will pass through a forest that will be very dark at night.''

Megan nodded dutifully. She had previously been invited by Thomas to camp, but the things he would go through would be very different. The forest in 1945, where else is more sinister?

In a towering castle tower, a man stood mighty looking at the sun as he began to return to the contest. His eyes emit an aura of cold that can seem to make the person he is laid to freeze. His face is sculpted like a statue, radiating beauty, elegance and good looks that can enchant every woman who sees it.

The sound of a shoe with a loud pedestal is heard, making the man staring out turn around.

''Sir, it looks like Yagur has captives,'' said the man who climbed dozens of steps to get to the top of the castle tower. He ducked briefly saluting the man in front of him.

The man who showed an aura of nobility was a small grin. ''To be dining tonight?'' He walked up to the man in front of him. ''You went too far, Herol.''

Herol flashed a smile as the man he called the lord patted him on the shoulder.

''Not a meal. I think he's trying to lure someone else through his captivity,'' Herol replied with his observations. ''One of the Gammas of the Yagur-led pack appears to enter the Dasfor area to deliver a letter.''

''Yagur always felt he was an Alpha,'' said the man whose position as Alpha was in doubt.

Herol smiled obliquely. However, he as Gamma--the third-place werewolf of the pack led by the man before him now knows very well the history of his lord's relationship with Yagur.

''Then what are we going to do, Lord Eden?'' Herol asked, referring to his lord's name as Eden. The leader controls almost the entire northern forest area of Norway, especially in the forest section of Jazmore.

Eden took a breath. ''We have no right to interfere in the affairs of the other pack, but... if his behavior disturbs people who can reveal the identity of our people, then we must act.'' He is very understanding of his position as an Alpha who must keep the secrets of his people who are Werewolves in order to stay out of human reach.

''Why did Yagur end up charming the man?'' Eden asked curious. He has only heard of fellow werewolves, whether it's because of territorial power or a couple called Mate.

Herol hesitates to say it, but Eden's constantly pressing eyes led him to say, ''I heard the Guards speak that Yagur had found a witch who could foretell the future.'' Guards are guards of the werewolf kingdoms and nobles.

"A witch? Aren't all witches gone,'' Eden replied, knowing that in addition to his people, the Scandinavian region even Europe also had Werewolves and witches.

The history between the two is quite dark for each other. Where werewolves will usually eat part of a witch's liver to gain a certain power and present the heart organ to the Moon Goddess so that the werewolf's descendants have eternal notoriety. Since hundreds and even thousands of years of witch hunts have always occurred, until now the existence of witches began to be drastically eroded. Witches are human beings blessed with magic powers from birth and are random in nature.

"The witch could have predicted the future. The prisoner told his companion, then sounded to Yagur's ear, where the prisoner met the woman who two months ago said that Germany would lose, and it was proven.''

Eden's eyes are now squinting. He may often hear that witches can predict a person's future, but it is limited to one's personal life and requires special rituals. But only this time he heard about the prophecy of a World War.

''A witch?''

Herol nodded justified. ''Oh another one.'' He then remembered something else. ''The prisoner told me that the woman was actually from a region of Europe.''

''Do you think she's headed for Movaro?'' Eden is now more interested in the witch. A smile appears on Herol's lips. ''I've sent the Deltas to watch the road to Movaro.'' Delta is the lowest-tiered Werewolf nation.

''Good. I'll be there with Perol,'' replied Eden mentioning Perol who is a Beta, the older brother of Herol. He then walked down the stairs at high speed.

Herol's forehead wrinkled. He still remains in his place. Astonished by Eden's enthusiastic attitude that the man rarely shows. What's more, it's about women. Eden who is famous for his power and power throughout the pack in the Scandinavia area is also known as the loneliest Alpha, having not met the Luna.

Whereas Moon Goddess always gives every Alpha a clue about the existence of the eternal partner of the Werewolf pack leader in the alpha's adolescence. The clue is a mark on the forehead of each Werewolf that will shine when near his Mate. Only valid at Gamma level in blue, Beta in green and Alpha in gold. Likewise, the Mate will emit a similar beam. Not finding Luna as his Mate keeps Eden in another Alpha threat, in order to seize Eden's power and declare absolute power if he defeats Eden. One of them is Yagur, the Alpha whose territory is closest to Eden.
