Oscar's POV
“She will have to marry that Alpha,” I said out loud, as I walked towards my wife and kept ajar. There I was, I could only think of the benefit of what my daughter had done.
Although I had to keep on the act that I was not okay with what she did, but still yet, I was so excited within me.
“How can she do this? How can she bring so much shame to this family and the pack” my wife spoke
I only gazed at her eyes and said nothing
At that point, she was all rambling, and I had kept mute thinking about how my plan was going to commerce for it to be a success.
As I stared at the ground, all I could do was think of if she'd actually accept the idea of getting married to the Alpha.
With the fact that she tried to keep it a secret, there must be something behind that reason which I could not just figure out
I had my hands eroding my chin, my eyes fixed on the ground, lost in thought, my foot tapping slightly on the ground.
Within that period I sent for one of the palace maids
“ Go fetch Eleanor from her room, with immediate effect”
She scurried off almost immediately.
It didn't take so much time and I saw Eleanor walking down the stairs together with the maid I sent to get her.
Her face was already swollen, but I couldn't care less about how she was or what she felt.
All that was on my mind was how to fulfill my plans and send her off my pack. “She is such a weakling,” I thought to myself while giving her an irritating look.
She walked towards me and stood at my front headbent. I let out a snarl as I watched her looking so helpless.
“You will be getting married to that Alpha,” I heard myself say out loud.
“That's the only way to subdue the shame you brought upon us, not like we have any other options “
“No, that can not happen, “ Eleanor flared up; she fixed her gaze at me. I gave her a death glare, and she had this flay look.
I didn't bother listening to whatever it was she said, and after she was never even confident to speak for herself before, and it's impossible for it to change now.
“Please Father, that can not happen, I shall not marry the Alpha,” she said looking all pitifully
“What do you mean by that? Do you even have a slight idea of the grave mistake you made?. Aren't you even ashamed of yourself?”My wife said as she fixed her gaze on Eleanor, giving her that stare of disgust.
“You should even be grateful your Father thought of this, cause you would have been roaming around this pack with your head covered in shame for the rest of your life “
I couldn't stop myself from pacing around my Chamber.
“Eleanor, I would have to send a message across for the Alpha to get it. He has to know about this, and he has no other option than to take responsibility for this, or else I'll ruin his reputation” I said as I went to sit down on my Royal chair
Eleanor fell to the ground and resumed crying again. With her two palms folded, she kept on pleading as all I could do was stare at her in her own misery
If only this girl knew how excited I am with her current circumstances. I locked a gaze on my wife, and she gave me a scornful smile. I smirked a little and removed my eyes that was focused on her
Eleanor couldn't do anything other than cry and plead.
I turned deaf towards her request. She has to leave, as soon as possible.
“Father”, she said and made a yelping sound
“I know that I'm the last person you want to see at this moment, but please just hear me out and grant me this request” She locked her gaze on me
Her eyes were so watery; she was already wearing out as a result of all these cries and stress she had gone through since we all found out about her pregnancy.
“What do you want me to do for you? Cause you can't humiliate my family and expect me to let you go scot-free. You must marry the Alpha”
“No Father, I'm ready to do anything for you and go to any extent, but please not the Alpha”
This time around her head was bent to the floor, her hands folded and placed below her head. I could hear her whimper.
“Such a pathetic girl” I whispered to myself, as I let out a slight grin.
“Since she's not interested in getting married to Alpha Hadin, why don't we send her off to an Alpha of another pack”
I heard my wife speak from the end of the chamber.
“What do you mean?”
What are you trying to insinuate?”
“All I'm saying is, with the look of things, your daughter right here isn't ready to be married to Hadin”
She took a deep breath and continued,” If that's what she wants, we could still grant her wish and still be off the burden of her unwanted pregnancy.
Amidst all that was happening at the moment; I could sense that Eleanor would kind of go for this offer. The fact she so doesn't want to get married to the man that got her pregnant is what I'm still amazed or. And it's still putting me in a state of shock.
“Well, Eleanor you had what your mother said” I paused a bit and continued
“You will have to get married to another Alpha I know of one of my good friends, Alpha Jayden “
“Alpha Jayden?”She gave me a surprised look
“Wait you mean Jayden of the Callium Wolf pack?” Eleanor said out loud” " Her facial expression wasn't a good one but I couldn't care less about whatever it was she thought
“Yes Jayden,” I said with my eyeballs wide open
“Do you have a problem with that?”I asked giving her a dreadful look
“But Fa..ther……. Father, you and I and every other member of this pack and beyond know of how cruel Alpha Jayden is “ she said almost at the point of tears
“How is that supposed to be my problem, Eleanor? Was I the one who sent to out on your mission of disgrace? Was I the one that asked you to go and make yourself a slot?”
“Either you marry Jayden or you marry Had
in, the choice is yours, Eleanor “
“Now make your choice Lady,” I said out loud as my voice echoed
Eleanor POV “Why can't I live a normal, good life like the rest of my mates?” I cried out in my room “Why are my things always different?”“Ohh! Here I am thinking that I have finally made a name, I have finally found someone who loves me, I have finally found someone who will take me out of this pack” placing my left palm on my forehead with a heavy heart, I couldn't even speak properly cause I lost my voice while I was crying all day“But no, Moon goddess decided to play her cards on me again.” Looking outside my window, I could see how peaceful the sky was.I thought to myself, “Even the sky looks peaceful, just hovering around on its own without any disturbance.”“What will it take me to be just like the sky?” I began to whimper while having all these thoughts hovering in my headAlpha Hadin's one-time experience with me gave me a lot of hope; I thought that that was it, I thought that was me leaving this pathetic life. As I had this thought about Hadin, I felt this sharp pain l
Oscar's POV“Now you'll have to make your choice, Lady, “I said as my voice echoed.I stood up from my chair and left the walked out of the chamber. Heading towards the direction of the stairs, which will lead me to the hallway before I can get to my room.I didn't even wait to hear Eleanor's final decision, I didn't even care to know. All I could think of was how to get rid of that girl, Eleanor, once I get her to marry Alpha Jayden. And by the way, getting married to Alpha Jayden will be to my own advantage cause it will help grow my political power in the entire wolf pack. I had this smile on my face as I walked through the hallway leading to the bedroom of I, the Alpha.I could sense some kind of sound behind me, that was sounding like footsteps, and I'm very much aware I didn't ask anyone to come to my bedroom after I leftThe steps grow a bit louder and more obvious. I turned towards the direction of the sound only to see my wife.Phew, I took in a deep sigh of relief.“What bri

Eleanor’s POV“I said who the hell owns that pregnancy?”.My father repeated that question, but this time around in a harsh voice, which snapped me out of my few seconds of thought of how those words pierced through my heart.I could feel myself crying silently within me, but what to do? I only stared at him without knowing what to say next; I was just so numb. How do I tell them that the so-called person who got me pregnant was no other than Alpha Hadin of the Arden Wolf Park?A man who doesn't even want to see my face again all because I'm the weak Omega, the daughter of an Alpha who he has a beef with. I could only stare at my father in fear. He was so furious by my silence that he had to forcefully hold me by my arm without even considering the fact that I was not in a good state and dragged me out of the room, followed behind was my evil stepmom, who had been silent the whole time smiling devilishly with the thought of the amount of trouble I had gotten myself into. Not quite lon
A New Life, New Pain~Eleanor Pov~Weeks had passed since then.Since the day when my mate Hadin rejected me and then left me in pieces on the forest floor. And since that day, I hadn't seen him, no-no, not once, nothing, as if he had vanished into thin air from my world and gone ahead to leave a part inside me, a spot that I just didn't know how to fill.During the early days, I used to tell myself that he was just lacking time, which he knew he had lost and on his knees had come for having made this mistake against me. Therefore, the only lifeline was held onto and repeatedly replaying moments in the head that we shared. And, well, as days went to weeks, that spark of hope dwindled so gradually. No day did he come. None.Yet, still, I waited. That hope, it was stupid, wasn't it? But it was all I had left.I've been feeling weird these days, gray as the sky above, my mood almost non-existent, along with my appetite. And then again, I never really had much to eat at my Stepmother.I w
An Alpha's Duty“Hadin Pov~I made my way into the gathering, maneuvering through the crowd. Seraphina was behind me, flexing her elegance and boldness like she owned the place. We had barely stepped a foot into the gathering when I felt a cold liquid splash all over me, the sound of glass shattering in my ear.“What the–!” I exclaimed furiously, looking up to see the person who had caused this mess. I was boiling with rage, my head snapping up with a deadly swiftness. And then I saw her—the same girl whom I had seen in the forests earlier.Eleanor.The moment my eyes met hers, my anger faded instantly, replaced with a confused look. But before I could react, Seraphina dashed forward and delivered a stinging slap to her face.“You should be more careful next time! Do you realize who you just splashed a drink on?” She blurted out, her tone nothing but aggressive. To my surprise, Eleanor didn't react. She only nodded and crouched to the ground level, picking up the shards of glass scatt
Why don't I just die?~Eleanor Pov~I walked back to the gathering, my body heavy with everything that had just happened. It was a fight with every step, my legs seemed to quiver beneath me, ready to give way at any time. The ache in my chest and the lingering sting in my body from last night made it hard for me to move, yet I couldn't let anybody see my pain.I had to act normal like everything was fine. The laughter and talking louder, their voices closer, others, too, my pack amongst them. My stomach twisted in knots, dread clawing at me as I stepped closer. I didn't want to be here, I didn't want to see anyone. But I had no choice. My eyes scoured the faces of the people, searching for him. Hadin. To see this man who'd destroyed me.Yet, it seemed like nothing.Disappointment fell heavily, like a blanket, wrapping itself around me. He was gone. Had walked away from me like everybody else.I swallowed hard, forcing my expression into something blank and indifferent. My heart was br
The Bitter Morning~Eleanor Pov~"I reject you."The words cut at me like a slap, each syllable like a blade cutting into the fragile hope that had dared find harbor in my chest."I will never accept you as my Luna," Hadin added, his voice unfeeling and merciless. Gray eyes—eyes which only this morning had regarded me with warmth—seared my skin with their disdain.I stared at him, without blinking, my breath caught in a catch. "What …?" My voice was less than a whisper, shaking over while trying to make sense of what was going on."You heard me," he sneered, his lips twisting with distaste. "You are nothing to me. You are the daughter of my enemy, Eleanor. You are tainted with his blood.".The more these words rang in my ears, the louder and more sharp they sounded. Impossible! this couldn't be, this was the only man who kissed me like a bird, cuddling me like I was made of crystal, saying my name, and enunciating it so great that only this one single word left in the dictionary can b
