Atticus heard these stories so many times, he knows them by heart. But as much as it annoys Atticus to hear these stories over and over again, he can't bring himself to quiet his Beta or remind him how many times he's heard these stories. These are stories of people Tristan will never see again. Experiences that he can only remember, instead of having new ones with people who were once family, friends, and fellow pack members.
