I am 25 years old and Yes, I don't want to leave my pack for some random mate. The moon goddess wants to punish me by making me with the wrong mates. Yes, I have rejected my two previous mates so far from the different packs but my heart and souls are in my pack. After my parents died to save my alpha and Luna in the battle with rogues they considered me as a younger sister, Alpha Ryan and myself used to play with each other when we were kids, they never make me feel like I am their beta they treat me as their family and I treat them as my family.

I need to wake up early in the morning for the meeting for my run and then I need to give a speech on behalf of my alpha and plead to the Alpha king to look into our matters. my reputation as a beta is very ruthless, they said I have a very big mouth I speak I say whatever comes to my mind I don't filter anything they call me cruel but I have to be as I need to protect my alpha and Luna there will family with my life. because of them, I am here today if they have abundant me I would be a rogue and would have died by their rogue king.

But because of the next room I couldn't able to sleep at the time it was already past 11 and I need to go to the meeting before all my routines.

I tried to sleep again and this time luckily they fall asleep I think as I can't hear them and I fall asleep too.

My alarm started ringing at 6 am I groaned because the last night I could not fall asleep again after midnight they started their stupidity again.

I got up, freshen up, and went for my morning walk or run if I shift. But here I can't run I have to take walk in the opposite garden which I saw yesterday when I arrive here.

When I came out of my room a man from next door also came outside and he scan me from head to toe. I feel disgusted. He is that person who did all thing. I ignored him and went for the elevator as I was on the 8th floor. He came to the elevator with me. We joined on the same elevator I can't deny him to take the next round because he already entered.

He said, "Hi beautiful." very disgustingly

I ignored him.

He again said, "I am Alpha David from Cruel Night Pack."

When he introduced himself I hated him more because of him we could not talk personally with the King he is his cousin.

But I have to reply to him so I said "Hello Alpha David."

He smirks and asks "So you are?"

"I am kate morgan, a beta of Moon shadow pack." I introduce myself.

So he said by extending his hand "Hello Katie."

Now I hate him from the bottom of my heart nobody called me Katie except my family. And the elevator sound dinged and feel relief. I went out of the elevator and said "Goodbye."

And turned to go for a walk.

I feel his energy as he is an alpha and I insulted him it made him furious.
