Alpha Jackson and His Human Mate

I was enjoying the morning in my tiny house. I was drinking coffee and finally, finally feeling like I could breathe. The day was sunny and beautiful and the smell from my open window that was behind the small sofa built into the wall of my tiny home was sweet and addicting. I stood in the middle of the room and sipped my coffee, still in my tank top and pj bottoms from the night before, my long auburn hair fell down my back in waves and I tried to shove it out of my face and push it behind my ears to keep it out of my blue eyes. This was where I had always dreamed of being. Ever since I was a little girl. I finally had the tiny home and property I had always wanted. A place to stay in solitude and keep everyone away. My studio, that I had built alongside my tiny home, was filled with paintings and drawings that had helped to bring me this paradise. I had only sold a couple, but it was enough to buy my tiny slice of heaven. My property was surrounded by forest on all sides with only a

He sat next to me on my swing allowing me as much space as possible. I turned slightly to look at him. "So... mates. What is that?" I asked. He smiled a little and my heart flipped over. Why am I reacting like this? "That is part of the mate bond." He said softly, obviously hearing what I was wondering. I flushed. "I need to explain how I found you."My eyes widened. What did he mean 'found her'? Before coming here, I very rarely left her small apartment in a small town in the next state. I worked from home for an insurance company and tried to stay to herself. My life had been chaotic and full of abuse in so many forms before I finally decided to take control and leave my oppressive life, family, and ex-fiance where they belonged. Squarely in the past. So, how had this man known where I was at that time? I had barely been living my knew life for a year and only bought this property and home a few months ago when someone bought a couple of my paintings for nearly five hundred thousand

MirandaI sat in his arms for a long while before I felt him tense beneath my cheek on his muscled chest. I was still having a hard time with his delicious scent."I must return to my pack." I could feel the rumble of his voice and I didn't want to move but I knew what he was saying was important somehow. "I have to prepare for your arrival."I pulled away from him a little to look up at him. "My arrival?" She repeated. "What do you mean? You have a pack? What does that mean? Don't you live in the woods?"He chuckled and pulled me back to his warm body. "We have a community in the forest, but we don't live full time as wolves." His voice sounded amused. "And my pack has been waiting for their luna for a very long time and are eager to meet you. I must return to prepare for you to join us."I smiled a little. "I would like to see this pack. Are they all like you or are there any humans there?""Most are like me, but there are human mates there as well. You won't be the only one, just t

I gaped at him while he stood there smirking. "I'm not going to ride you!" I squeaked. His smile only deepened. "Don't worry, Axel will protect you. It's basically like riding a horse." He shrugged. "Axel is really looking forward to it. You wouldn't want to disappoint him would you? I think it might break his heart if you didn't let him take you there."I huffed in annoyance at him. Jerk! He probably knew I wouldn't be able to say no to Axel, the beautiful gentle wolf. And he was right. The thought of hurting Axel in any way, even just his feelings, for some reason made me wince. I couldn't do it. I nodded once. "Fine." I huffed. "For Axel."JacksonI ran swiftly through the forest with Miranda on my back. I barely felt her weight she was so tiny. She seemed to fit so naturally and once we started, she relaxed and I could feel her excitement at going full speed on the back of a giant wolf. The air blowing past us made her hair flow behind her and at a certain point she put her arms s

MirandaI couldn't believe how comfortable it was to be on the back of a giant black wolf that was racing through the forest. It felt like I had always belonged there, like I had done it a million times with him. I could feel the elation in him as he ran. Axel was quite fast and agile in the forest. It was apparant that he belonged here in nature. I could feel his sides expanding and huffing out air rythmically as he ran. While Axel ran, Jackson was busy giving me a history of his pack. "We have been here for many generations, dating back to the sixteen hundreds. My grandparents, their grandparents and so on have always lived here, had their children here, raised families and thrived. No one knows that we exist out here. Many centuries ago, my lineage bought the land and made sure it would never be found by other species.""Are there other packs?" I asked. "Do you communicate with them if there are?" I had so many questions but I didn't want to bombard him while he was running with me
