Chapter Eighteen

Alexandria

Not long after we go back to making plans for tonight, we hear mom yell up the stairs that dinner is ready, we make our way downstairs and see my dad already at the table waiting for dinner.

Annie and I sit at the table with my dad and wait for my mom to join us, once she is sitting, I bring the idea about Annie and me wanting to see a movie and hang out with a few friends there but only Annie and I know we will be the only ones there, I don’t have any other friends besides Annie.

He doesn’t seem to be too worried about it, so he lets us go to the movies, then I tell him thank you and kiss him on the cheek and sit back down to quickly finish eating dinner. After dinner, we make our way back upstairs to get ready for the movie. After we are ready and, on our way, out the door my dad yells for us.

“Girls make sure you are safe and let me know where you are at all times, okay?”

“Sure, thing dad, thanks again for letting us go. Love you guys!”
