Sophie POV

"Kevin's baby what?"

"Yeah. Luna Sara pulled some strings. She's joining your school of fashion design. Maybe she'll give birth over there."

"The guy got someone pregnant?" I asked.

"Yup. The girl wants to be out of the pack for a while. The Luna is helping her better her life. For the unborn pup. That's what Richard said. Also, Kevin is from a long line of chiefs and warriors. Good genes, etcetera. The pup will be a good addition to the pack, so yeah, the Luna's making sure she's alright."

I leaned back on the couch, feeling just like old times as she shared the gossip. Her life had been so interesting since she left the Night Storm. I liked hearing all about it. I was sort of ashamed to tell my own story. That I'd spent the last three years shaking my aṣs for money was something I didn't want to tell her yet. When I thought about it, what I did sounded a little bit like the life our mother led.

I would tell her my story. Another time, not today.
