Later that night...

Lyra trudged tiredly into the house, her feet ached from walking around the town, her cheeks stained with tears. Immediately she pulled the door open and walked in, the cold evening air wafted the sensuous aroma of her favorite food into her nostrils and she sighed.

On a normal day she'd be eager to go into the kitchen and devour the food, but today, things were different. She didn't even have the appetite to eat anything. Either ways, she dragged her feet into the kitchen to take a peek at who was cooking and get herself a glass of water.

"Lyra" she heard Xavier call her name once she stepped foot in. Hazel, turned in at that moment and smiled at her.
