Chap-21*Back To My Mate's Pack*
"It's okay, I can carry her in my arms," I told the guards who had come to the bus stop to receive me and my daughter.
Hope had fallen asleep long before we reached it as the journey was tiring and I never knew this pack was far away from my old pack.
They grabbed and filled the bags in a separate car whilst I slid inside with Hope in my arms.
I had to calm my nerves down by inhaling and exhaling from my partially parted lips in order to avoid these feelings that were boiling inside me.
I was sleepy too. My eyes were giving up on me.
Once the car stopped in front of an enormous mansion that I could only see from afar. There was a small guest house we were headed towards. I thought a little and walked out with my sleeping daughter and followed the guards to the annex.
"If you need anything, give us just one call," the guard said before walking out of the annex.
It was a small cozy guest house having two bedrooms with attached bathrooms
