Chap-37*The Lost Ones*

 I cried coming home because of the things said about me to my face, but the pain was gone in the next few hours when Icy told me how good the outcome would be for me.

They will finally leave me and my daughter alone and, by the looks of it, I am now certain that Tessa would never accept my daughter's truth to be found out by Silas.

Now that they weren't coming into Hope's sight, she hadn't asked about them as well. I was making sure Desmond stays connected with her so that she has someone she is getting attached to.

"Are we going to the park today?" Hope asked, following me to the kitchen, and my body shuddered out of fright.

What if she throws another tantrum?

"Umm, well, I have another surprise, but you get to decide what you want to do," I tricked her and started doing my dishes.

"Surprise? What is it?" she giggled and clapped her hands as she expressed her joy hearing the word surprise.

"I have planned a game for you," I sai

why the hell does Silas the dick not listen to what she says about her whole family. sigh

This book is getting in my last nerve. I am about to quit. The grammar, the diction, the repetitiveness, the failure at first person narration is just as annoying as the lack of development of the main protagonist. Seems like it is written by a child at times.
