MANUEL'S POV

I was looking forward to having a good day today only to be greeted by bickering as I walked past the hallway to my office. The door to my new personal assistant named Miss Samantha's office had been slightly ajar.

I couldn't help but walk through to avoid any sort of danger only to find Samantha and Maeve in a very heated conversation.

I frowned.

"Who had let Mave in?"I thought. I made a mental note to inform all my staff about her unannounced visits.

"What are you doing here?"I turned to Maeve.

"Baby, Your new employee here and I were just having a simple chat. "she chuckled stretching out a hand to pat Samantha's shoulder.

I haven't known Samantha for that long but it was very evident that she was very uncomfortable. From the way she clasped and unclasped her fists at her sides, to the way her eyes pooled with tears threatening to fall. I knew that Maeve must have said something like she always does.
