SAMANTHA'S POV

I groaned as the sun rays shone straight through the sheer fabric of my curtain.I got out of bed at the sound of my mother's voice.

"Samantha!"My mother called out again.

"coming!"I called back.

I rushed into the bathroom to get ready for the day.Trudging down the stair case I met my mum who wore a stern expression on her face which meant that she was really angry now.

"What took you so long?"My mother asked as she pivoted down the stairs to the kitchen.

"I was getting ready"I responded.

Walking into the kitchen,I saw my elder sister, Maeve chomping down a plate of steak and chugging down a glass of juice with it.

"Hi sis"I greeted.

All I got in response was silence.Maeve ignored me and focused on the plate in front of her.

My mum who was oblivious to the exchange between us,walked to the kitchen aisle pulling out pots and pans frantically searching for something.

Shaking away the sad feeling, I proceeded to help my mother.

"Mum,what are you looking for?"I asked.

"Well,I want to make dinner for our guests."My mother responded pulling out a sauce pan from underneath the counters.

"What guests?"I asked with a confused frown.From the corner of my eyes,I saw something indecipherable flicker in Maeve eyes before it was quickly masked by an eye roll.

"Well,your future husband is coming"my mother answered.

My heart sank.

"What?!"I exclaimed.

I have never in my whole 25 years ever imagined that I would be arranged to be married by my parents.Ever since I had turned on my 20th birthday,I had been betrothed to man that I was yet to see.All I knew was that he was from a prestigious family and that he was going to take care of me.

"Mum you know it's wrong to force an alliance on me to...whomever it is that you're setting me up with "I stated wryly.At this point I was tired of trying to get my parents to understand.

"Don't be ungrateful,Mum and Dad have done a lot to get you this match and here you are whining.Who do you think you are,you're just a ..."Maeve spoke up with venom laced in every word she spoke.

"Maeve !"our mother stopped her.

Our mother and Maeve exchanged glances.I eyed the exchange suspiciously.

"What the heck is going on?"I asked.

"Nothing of importance.All you need to know is that you're going to be meeting your fiance for the first time today so why don't you come help me out here and later on you can go change into something presentable.We wouldn't want you to disappoint us by appearing haggard in front of our guests"her mum said eyeing her up.

"Mum!"I exclaimed.

"Come help me out"my mother ordered.

I did as I was told.

By evening I was seated cushioned in-between my mum and dad as they interacted with the men that had come first to introduce their main guest.

I rolled my eyes at the lack of courtesy my so called future husband didn't have until the man of the hour walked into the room.

My father stood as a sign of respect.

"Gamma Jonathan, we welcome you to our humble home"my father said stretching out his hand.

"Thank you."the man in question looked around the room before skeptically taking a seat .I gasped as his intense gaze met mine.I felt his eyes undressing her.i felt my skin crawl at the mere thought of what could be running through his kind right now.I sneered in response.

"Sir I would like you to meet your future bride."my father said,gesturing towards me.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw my father signal me through gritted teeth to be polite.So like a trained animal,I did as I was instructed to.

Bowing my head,I greeted him.

He cleared his throat in satisfaction

"I can see that she is well behaved.She would make a good wife "Gamma jonathan responded.

Letting out an awkward chuckle,my father responded.

"Yes,she will"he said

"Now,let's go over the details of this alliance,shall we?"everyone turned towards the man clad in a black suit as slid a file towards our side of the table.

Going through it,the arrangements commenced.

The whole meeting entailed of my suitor coming to make his intention openly known and since I wasn't given any sort of opinion on any of the matter,I stayed silent..That was how the meeting had ended.I was officially now engaged to Gamma Jonathan known to be a ruthless leader of the army pack. And our wedding date was set.

Weeks passed,I had tried to get Maeve to tell me what was really going on. Even when they came back from work everyday, Maeve would ignore me all day at home except only when she really could not avoid it.I realized that I must have done something wrong.So I had decided to give her all the space she needed.

"Samantha,have your seen your sister?"My mother asked me from across the table.

We were all sat around the dining table silently enjoying the meal my mum had prepared.

"No mum I haven't seen her."I replied.

Worried,my mum dropped her utensils unto her plate with a loud clang.

"Did you not come home with her?"my father asked wiping the last of his lips as he calmly strode out of the dining straight for his phone in the living room.

"No dad,she told me to go ahead that she had another shift to cover and that she would go see her friends afterwards "I replied.

I heard the dial pads on her dad's phone before her phone beeped in my hand.

Opening it,I let out a sigh of relief as I read through the contents of the message.

"Hey sis,please would you come meet me at the lounge town hotel,I think I got myself in a bit of trouble and I need your help resolving it.Please don't tell Mum and Dad and come alone '

"Hello?Deputy,please I would like to..."

"Dad,Maeve just contacted me now.Let me go pick her up"I spoke up

He said a few apologies to the person on the other line and clicked off.

"Okay,but make sure you're coming home with her.if not we'll involve the authorities."he instructed

"Okay now,get going"my mother said.

"Okay"and with that I took off into the night.

As soon as I had arrived there I was met with an eerie feeling.I walked through the double doors taking care not to topple any piece of furniture over as I fumbled in the darkness.

"Hello...Maeve"I called out .

But there was nothing.I walked through the dimly lit hallways and opened doors to look through the rooms in search of maeve.In the process of searching rooms I felt a shove and the door shut behind her.

The lights flickered for a minute before coming on and I registered my surroundings.

I was standing in a well furnished room designed just for pleasure.The lighting turned the room into a hue of dark red.

My breath hitched when my eyes settled on a dark silhouette nestled in the dark corners of the room.

"You're even more beautiful than I imagined "he drawled out sexily.

I felt my heart tug at the sound of his softly spoken words.I felt a pull to him unlike I had ever experienced in my life.

When he stepped out into the light,I gasped

The face and powerfully sculpted body made my heart race .I placed a soothing hand across my bosom willing it to still.

"When I had been told that It would be worth my while,I didn't believe them but now I do."he said softly as he took a step towards me.

I felt all the air in the room dwindle as the distance between us shortened.I took one step backwards and he took two forward until I was hard pressed between the door and his warm hard body.

"Who are you?"I breathed out as his hand trailed up my thigh.

"That's not relevant."he responded pulling my lips up in a kiss that blew my mind.

I felt my toes curl as he lifted me tp to deepen their kiss.His tongue found mine reveling in the juices of my mouth. His lips trailed kisses down my neck down to my chest.

He stopped much to my dismay,looking straight at me ,waiting for my consent.I felt my heart warmed and my inner wolf danced triumphantly .

Unable to resist,I nodded my approval succumbing to the fire that was ignited deep inside of me for this handsome stranger. I didnt know what came over me but I could not control myself.Something must have been wrong.Something was wrong

Plopping back unto my feet,I watched slowly as he tugged at the straps of my top exposing my chest.

"You're so prefect."he whispered as he encircled one pert nipple into his mouth.

My head swung back as he suckled setting all my nerves on fire.

"Don't stop"I moaned.

"I don't intend to"

That was the last thing he said before everything blurred out.
