Alpha Nico’s POV

My plan was working as I walked in front of Hera and her minions, thinking of Amelia how much happier she’ll be now put a small smile on my face. If there wasn’t a bond, she would have killed me with her bare hands if given the chance. I was only a few feet from the cliff’s edge when I turned looking at Hera, “you gave me your word you will leave my pack alone; you will not harm another.”

She cackled, “you’re such a fool do you honestly believe that I won’t destroy all of them, those pups,” she pointed her finger towards the pups that were surrounded by a few witches, “they will be the firsts to go, once I have my fun with you, you will not leave here alive and neither will any of your kind.” She threw her hand out in my direction, and suddenly I was dodging icicles as they sliced through my skin, leaving large gashes. I heard whimpering and my eyes went to the pups as they all watched on in horror.
