Lucas steps out of his lair after a long video chat with his luna and son. He finds May standing and gazing into thin air deep in thoughts. His smile suddenly fades and he approaches her. she did not notice him coming until he tapped her gently on the shoulder to call her attention.
She gasps in fright as she returns to the present and chuckles at Lucas. “Oh, it’s you, my lord. I didn’t see you coming.”
Lucas turned to face her and replied. “I noticed that you were far away. Something bothering you? Something you’d like to share?”
May sighed and replied. “I was just thinking about Modi and the condition with which we parted; it wasn’t good.”
Lucas nodded slowly in agreement with what she said.
May saw his expression and she felt slightly discouraged to go on. She exhaled and said. “Yeah, I know. I wonder if he’s still alive. I’m just worried.”
