GENEVA’S POV

I woke up with sweat running down my face as I breathed heavily. What was that? It felt so real... Being a Goddess of a kingdom, having wings and flying to the sky.. My eyes are as black as the universe yet my hair was white as snow. What is happening to me? This is strange.

"Lady Nyla." I heard a voice from a distance. I blinked a couple of times till my vision was better. I looked to the left and saw the sorcerer and the Prince who’s named... Wesley? I think? I’m not so sure since I’m all confused.

"What happened to me?" I asked and they looked at each other before looking at me again.

"You passed out and dropped the book. Do you have your memories back now?" Prince Wesley asked and I held my head.

"I don’t- I just saw some memories- or imagination? It felt too fiction but my heart keeps telling me it’s real," I murmured and looked at the pair.

"What did you see, lady Nyla?" The woman asked and I sighed, trying to remember again.

"I saw him," I said as I pointed at Prince Wesley.

"And I saw another man. General.. Wesley and General Wilbur," I said and his mouth agape but the sorcerer wasn’t surprised at all. "What? I’m not a thousand years old and I sure am not going to live past three hundred," he uttered, leaving me confused. People here can live over a thousand and also live until 300?

"It was you in your past life, Prince Wesley," the woman answered and both our eyebrows raised. "Was that my past life too as well then?" I asked. Since I’m a Goddess in that and now I’m just a human.

"No, lady Nyla. You’re.. immortal." My eyes widened as I tried to comprehend. Me? Immortal? That is impossible. "I’m a human!" I exclaimed and she shook her head before handing me the mirror.

I grabbed it and I looked at myself and saw a white streak of hair at the front yet the rest of my hair is brown. "Your hair is becoming white the more you remember your memories. Soon enough, everything will come into place."

I held my hair and stared at myself in the mirror. This is surreal.

"This can't be true," I whispered to myself. I slapped my face but nothing happened. "No, no, no. Bring me back!" I screamed as I tried to slap myself multiple times to wake me up.

"Lady Nyla!" the prince screamed.

"My name is Geneva!" I screamed in annoyance as I tried slapping myself with both my hands simultaneously.

"My lady!" he screamed again. All of a sudden, he grabbed both my wrists and pinned me on the bed as he hovered above. I breathed heavily as we stared at each other intensely. He looked pissed but so did I. "Don’t hurt yourself," he commanded and I pushed him off.

"You say I’m a deity yet you don’t respect me. You almost threw a knife right through my head," I said as I pointed at the sorcerer and she looked away.

"And you.. you’re pissing me off. Don’t touch me and stay 2 feet away," I said as I pointed to the Prince. I sighed heavily before looking around and noticed I’m not in the cave anymore and everything in this room looks fancy. I raised an eyebrow and crossed my arms. "Where am I?" I asked.

"The castle," the man replied and my eyebrows raised.

I was about to ask another question again when the door burst open, revealing a man that has similar features to this Wesley guy. My mouth agape and I stood up, making the other two stand up. "You!" I shouted and walked towards him. I grabbed his face and scanned it.

"You’re the guy from the cave that saved me. And you’re the guy from my memories or something. Is your name Wilbur?" He blinked a couple of times before nodding and I scoffed.

"Ha! Where the fuck did you went?! The white wolf suddenly appeared after you disappeared," I said with frustration.

"Lady Nyla-" Wesley tried to butt in but I glared at him.

"Shut up and my name is Geneva," I said angrily before looking at Wilbur again. He tried to get out of my grasp but I didn’t let go. "Where did you go? Are you with the red eyed guy?"

"What? No!" he exclaimed confusedly.

"Uh huh? Then where were you?" I questioned.

"I didn’t know our goddess was this feisty," he commented with a smirk and I scoffed and pushed him away. Why is this man being playful?

"For the record, I was the white wolf who carried you to safety. From the bird and the vampire, you’re welcome," he answered and my eyes widened.

"A vampire?!" I freaked out and the three of them looked at me oblivious.

"Those exist here too? My goodness," I murmured and held my head. This is so surreal, I feel like jumping off a cliff just now. I’d rather be dead than deal with this. I sighed heavily before looking out the window and noticed how it’s still day time, which means I’ve only been passed out for a couple hours.

"Where’s the queen and king?" I asked and the brothers shrugged.

"They’re visiting another kingdom, they’ll be back in a week. I’m afraid of what they may do to you once they’re back. The word in the kingdom has soon spread." Wesley sighed after his speech and so did his brother, or I assume they’re brothers based on my ‘memory’ a THOUSAND years ago.

"Why would they do something bad to me if I’m a deity?" I wondered and none of them could utter a word. My eyebrows furrowed in curiosity. "That we don’t know despite them being our parents," Wilbur answered and I nodded my head.

Should I accept that this is not simply a fever dream?

"I don’t want to stay in this place. I want to go back," I announced.

"I’m afraid there’s no way back to Earth. And you, the goddess of this realm, will have responsibilities to uptake," she said and I frowned before scoffing.

"I didn’t ask for this! I just want to go back to Earth and watch some n*****x while I suffer studying for the exam. I’d rather suffer in school again than be in this stupid world!" I complained but they didn’t understand what I said.

"Net..flix?" Wesley asked.

"Ah, for catching fish!" Wilbur added.

"What an excellent deduction, my brother," Wesley said in amusement and his brother smirked. I sighed before I face-palmed. These stupid idiots.

While we were inside, I heard loud bells from outside the room. My heart rate beat faster by the sound. I looked at the people I was with inside the room and they stayed silent. A couple seconds later, I saw Wilbur turn into the massive white wolf and my mouth agape. "AHHH!" I screamed in shock. I guess he was telling the truth about him being the one who saved me.

I turned to Wesley and he himself turned into a werewolf but the difference was his color is pure black, not white. My mouth agape as I admired the beauty of the two werewolves. "What the fuck!" I shouted. The brothers ignored my confusion and jumped out of the balcony. I covered my mouth before I ran to the balcony and saw them fall two floors off the ground but landed perfectly.

"What is happening!" I asked the sorcerer.

"The vampires have attacked again," she explained and I looked down the balcony and saw more people turning into werewolves while the others hid inside their houses. This can’t be happening! What the fuck is going on? I can’t be stuck in this world where vampires and werewolves exist. Humans are supposed to be on top of the food chain, not below it! They can easily kill me.

I sat down on a chair and held my head and closed my eyes. I looked up before sighing heavily. "Can I see the book again?" I asked and she nodded before going through her stuff and grabbing the book encased in a clear box. She handed it to me and I started scanning it.

I sighed heavily as I looked at all angles of the box. It looks dirty and the color has changed severely. "What was the original color of this box?" I asked and looked up to her and she shrugged.

"I don’t know. I’ve only been alive for a hundred years. My mother was the one who was caring for that after my grandmother passed away. We’ve passed it from one generation to another and have waited centuries for you to come back," she explained and I nodded.

"What’s your name?" I asked and she raised an eyebrow, taken back from my question.

She cleared her throat before speaking. "No one has really asked that.." she said and chuckled lightly. "My name is Thelia but everyone calls me the sorcerer," she answered and I nodded. While we were talking I felt a presence coming our way. Call it a prediction or a gut feeling but I definitely felt it.

I stood up from my seat and looked at the balcony. Not a second later, the man with red eyes appeared right before our eyes. "Lady Nyla, stay back," Thelia said before going in front of me as we back away slowly.

"Ah, the deity needs protecting? I wonder why?" The man laughed ominously and I furrowed my eyebrows. He continued smiling and all of a sudden, his voice was inside my head.

(I’ve waited a long long time for this, Nyla. You suddenly disappeared during the war.. what a coward move,) he said inside my head and I held my head in frustration.

"Stop!" I screamed and I could hear him laugh inside.

"Don’t let him get inside your head!" Thelia screamed. As if I have control over that!

The man moved around the room as if he’s teasing us. He’s definitely antagonizing us before killing us. What a classic psychopath. A vampire who’s not right in the head? Sounds like a certain vampire in a certain movie I’ve watched. With that ugly looking CGI baby they pulled, they should've just hired a real kid.

"What the hell are you thinking?" The man uttered and I blinked a couple of times.

"Oh, you can hear my thoughts?" He nodded and I sniffed before chuckling. Ah shit, I just called him a psycho and he heard it. Ah, stop thinking about it.

The man suddenly appeared right in front of me. He smirked before grabbing me by the neck and throwing me against the wall and I struggled to breath once I fell to the ground. "You k-know.. I’ve b-been beaten up ever since I got here." I coughed out blood and I stood up slowly and I saw him throw the sorcerer across the room.

He suddenly bolted towards me and held my neck and lifted me up. I tried to get out of his grasp but I couldn’t as I choked to death.

GENEVA'S POV My piercing scream echoed after my hands slipped. The bird shrieked with me before I was swept away mid-air. I let out a loud breath before realizing what had happened. Agnes' hands around me after he caught me from falling felt like a strong lock around my body. "W-we failed to retrieve the wings…" I mumbled as we landed on the ground. I groaned from the pain as he laid me down on the cold grass to what seemed like the last thing I'll feel before passing. "You think I'll recover from this?" I jokingly asked with what little energy I had. "You're not a mortal, you will." I may not be a mortal but I sure as hell feel like one. My powers are weak, and I feel the everlasting exhaustion and pain a human body feels. In a world dominated by werewolves and vampires, I'm not a deity but just a mere mortal right now."What… w-were we?" I hesitated. "We're beings in this–" I shook my head lightly as I coughed. "What… happened– between y-you and me?" I restarted my sentence and

GENEVA'S POVEverything was perfect, the wings were calling for me, and I was waiting for them. The moment was ruined when I felt a pair of hands wrap around my neck as the grip tightened. I swallowed hard, and the wings fell to the ground as guards dragged them away. "No!" I agonizingly screamed. I felt weak, a mere mortal's strength was within me. I looked to my side and saw the king holding me by my neck. "Get your hands off of her!" Wilbur screamed from behind as I heard chains wrap around his wrist. The king smiled deviously as he uttered, "Break the glass window." The guards looked at him with hesitance before gulping. "NOW!" They bowed down before stepping forward. I looked up, staring at the massive glass window with the shade of red."Y-you…" I tried to speak but I was silenced by the pain around my neck. He smirked before laughing maniacally. "This is the deity you choose to follow?" He lifted me up and faced the people that were behind us. Wilbur, on his knees and chain

  • Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity   Chapter 28 - Geneva

GENEVA'S POVI've never felt this type of pain in my life. The burning and hot sensation of the blood from my neck makes me feel like I'm at death's door. The pain and agony as my skin ripped apart was a pain I couldn't imagine. "A-Agnes," I whispered, out of breath as he continued taking blood from me. Soon enough, the pain was gone. It was as if it never happened. A numbing sensation was felt across my body as he continued. (I'm sorry, that should help,) he whispered inside my mind as he held me closer. It felt like hours but he only sucked my blood for a couple of minutes before removing his teeth that were buried down my neck. "W-what did you g-give me?" I asked before he lifted me up to carry me. "Something to numb the pain," he whispered before carrying me down the tunnel. I held onto him as I closed my eyes, not believing what just happened to me. My eyes closed by themselves before I heard Thelia screaming in the distance yet I didn't have enough energy to wake up. "What h

  • Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity   Chapter 27 - Geneva

GENEVA'S POV My heart was beating fast as the sorcerer helped me put on my clothes. They prepared a beautiful medieval dress in Earth tone that reached my toes with a puffed lower gown and pure white long sleeve top below the black corset. "I believe I didn't sign up to be your maid?" Thelia uttered before laughing as she tightened the corset. I'm not in a laughing mood. "He's going to get killed, what are we going to do to stop them?" I asked Thelia as she finished fixing my clothes. I look like a maiden in the eighteen hundreds, old style yet stravagant. I have no idea what pulls me into this vampire, why I want to save him, but I have to do my best in order to stop him from getting executed. I might be a deity in this realm but I have yet to earn their respect. They won't do as I asked because I'm powerless. I looked around and saw guards open the door to my room as they escorted both Thelia and I outside. The ceremony will begin and the brothers are yet to come home. What

  • Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity   Chapter 26 - Wesley

WESLEY'S POVI was beyond shocked after reading the book. I scrolled further until I reached the page where the deity vanished a thousand years ago and how he stopped writing from then on. "The vampires did this," I read the notes before the page ended. The following page, it was blank. I scrolled further until I found the last page with text on it. This was recent, only a few days before we caught them. It is odd how he refers to her in an endearing way. Did they perhaps like each other? "She's finally in my arms again," I read lastly before my eyes landed on the wall where a piece of rock fell. My eyebrows furrowed before I put the book down and scanned the wall. It looks like something is behind it. I grabbed the rocks off the wall before pulling them with force. I was expecting to see the book be hidden but to no avail. It was empty. A loud howl from outside was heard and I immediately grabbed the journal of the vampire n

  • Alpha Prince and the Lost Deity   Chapter 25 - Wesley

WESLEY'S POVEarly in the morning with the sun still resting I was called by the King and Queen to the meeting room. I was expecting this to be about the vampire's execution, or maybe the Deity's transformation, or even the hunt for the vampires but it wasn't. "Are you still searching for your mate?" I shook my head before sighing. I stopped searching for her when things got busy because of the Deity. "You need to find her or else you cannot be King," my father uttered and I clenched my jaw. "What if I don't want to be King?" I asked before raising my head and maintaining eye contact with them. My mother couldn't believe what she heard while my father stood up from his seat and slammed his hands on the table. "You are the next in line, you cannot deny your duties!" he shouted and I gulped. "Wilbur can be the King," I suggested and he furrowed his eyebrows. "He hasn't found his mate," he uttered and I scoffed. "None of us has found our mate
