"Why do I smell, a human here?" Lennox mused with the twinkle in his eyes.

Rasmus stayed silent as Catherine heard no response from his side.

What did that guy even mean by smelling a human here? What was he? A dog?

Catherine huffed in annoyance at how Rasmus behaved with her. Rotating around she looked around the darkroom. With little, she could see Catherine strolling toward the bedside table and turning on the lamp.

She smiled at her little achievement as she looked around the room which was not at all extraordinary.

There was a bed in the middle of the room. One cupboard to the corner, a study table, a window, and that was it. There was no attached restroom which meant the other door in the corridor might be the restroom.

Catherine gasped dramatically when she found a beautiful golden birdcage dangling near the window. Like an excited child, she jumped towards it and stared at the beautiful blue sparrow. Catherine's eyes twinkled with joy as she ogled at the sparrow.
