Chapter 23
Reid's POV
After dinner I carried him over to the bonfire. We have two, there is a large one off in the side field where we hold bonfires for the whole pack, 1400 members.
Then we have a smaller pit in the back yard just off the patio a little ways.I felt Julian tents up as we approach the fire. He stared at it with big eyes until we got closer. He then turned his head into me and buried his face in my neck.
I sat down in one of the chairs with him and rubbed his back.
"It's okay baby it's not going to hurt you. It's just a fire. Do you feel the warmth coming from it?'
He slowly turned his head around looking at it. I held my hand out toward the fire. "See, it gives off heat, it feels warm."

Julian's POV I hear the door open again before it closes quietly. I don't care what she says, I'm not eating I think as I cry into the his pillow. I feel the bed dip behind me before she lays down.
