Chapter 72: Theo's Return

Arriving at the packhouse, I was overwhelmed with a rush of anxiety. Pausing outside of the door, I took a deep breath before opening the door. I could tell Ryker was being patient with me, but I was starting to feel a little coddled.

I was a warrior, yet ever since I became pregnant, my emotions have been all over the place. I needed to get control before I felt every emotion I have locked up over the years. My entire life I have trained to become a warrior, which meant I had to keep myself levelheaded.
