Tamara,

“But sir. We don’t know……we just need……..”

Jeremy started to say stuttering, but Savage raised his hand up, making him shut his mouth and look down at his feet.

“It is done. No one here takes a position they don’t deserve or earn. And her being my mate doesn’t change that. These are the rules and our law. End of discussion.”

Savage growled at his head enforcer and I didn’t even have the power to flinch in fear. I was frozen in my place, shocked and feeling lost.

I looked around me as tears fell down my face and tried to see if anyone else was going to tell him to reconsider his decree, but there was nothing.

They were all just staring at me with different expressions, but I didn’t see any compassion or pity on any of their faces.

Some were calculating, some were grinning, and some were excited. While I was standing in my place and stopped breathing.

I looked back at savage and saw the disgusted look on his face before he gave me an ugly snarl and he stomped to the pack’s house
