Chapter 11

Smith smiled faintly and turned his face, then he got up from his place. Shedding his initial intention to bite the two men, he quickly changed her irises and fangs back to how they were before. Only after that did Smith look at Violetta again.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt?" asked Smith gently holding Violetta's hands, his eyes fixed on the girl.

Violetta did the same, she fixed Smith's gaze without answering the man's question. A few seconds later, Violetta turned to look at Smith's hand which was still covered in blood. Without thinking, Violetta looked at Smith's injured hand closer.

"Does this hurt?" asked Violetta sincerely, she behaved like that because she felt indebted to Smith.

"No, it doesn't hurt at all," Smith said with a smile.

Violetta was silent for a moment, she glanced at the clock in her hand. Violetta was very late for work, and if she didn't leave soon she could lose her job. A few seconds later, Violetta opened her bag and took out some plasters and ointments.

"Take it, treat your own hands, yes. I have to go to work right away, is that okay?" said Violetta while handing the thing to Smith. With just enough inner energy, the wound on his hand must have healed. But Smith still nodded in response.

"No problem, I'll treat it later," replied Smith.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Thank you for saving me, and remember! Don't forget to treat your hand." After saying that, Violetta immediately left her place. She walked away from there just like that, running towards her workplace.

Leaving Violetta, Smith smiled tightly. Feels himself starting to get closer to Violetta, that way it would be easier to mark Violetta as his mate.

"Huh... It's a good thing my hand got hurt too," Smith muttered with a light laugh. Then dashed away carrying all the things that Violetta had given earlier. He planned to go to his base, to meet his friends.

It didn't take long before Smith arrived at his base. Some friends from one pack were there, they were seen crowding around one of the tables. Out of curiosity, Smith approached them with his hands still covered in blood. who is Beta as well as Smith's friend quickly approached the man. Pulled Smith's injured hand and sniffed it a few times.

"Folding knife? Why can you get hurt just because of a knife?" asked Kenzo raising one eyebrow.

Smith rolled his lazy eyes, and casually he threw the gift from Violetta on the table. That made them all even more confused and didn't understand.

"Plaster and ointment? What for? Don't tell me you want to treat your wound with this?" asked Kenzo without stopping, because werewolves don't need things like that to heal wounds.

"Yes, I want you to help me treat my hand with that thing," Smith replied casually, leaning back on the chair with his right leg raised. thigh

"Oh come on Smith, what's wrong with you? You can treat your wounds easily without that thing, but..." Kenzo stopped his words as Smith glared at him.

Smith raised his hand, signaling Kenzo to shut up. "Shh.. Shut up and just do what I tell you. You know I don't like to be contradicted, right?" he said with emphasis.

Kenzo sighed, finally complying and helping Smith apply ointment and plaster to the wound on his hand. Although a big question mark is still in his mind.

After a few minutes in silence, Smith accidentally heard the pack members talk about the vampire race. That made him curious and said, "What are they talking about, Ken?" frowned, as long as he set up a pack in the city. Smith has never found vampires roaming around in the city, that's why it looks strange if all of a sudden vampires roam around in the city. muttered Smith thinking for a moment, whatever the reason. Smith doesn't like it when other creatures penetrate his territory.

"Tell them to keep an eye on the vampires, if they're anything. Just kill them one by one," Smith ordered Kenzo. After that he moved back from his place, wandering off to where he didn't know.

Elsewhere, Violetta was already at the cafe where she worked. Violetta worked as a waitress there, along with several friends. Violetta looks happy with her work, she also enjoys life as an ordinary person. Violetta has a friend in town named Jessi. She and Jessi started to get close when Violetta just moved to Alaska. Jessi was the one who helped Violetta find a place to live and work.

The clock showed 12.00, time for the employees to take turns taking a break. Violetta was at the back of the cafe, sitting alone contemplating.

"Violetta, why are you daydreaming here? Eat this. Our rest hours are very limited." Not long after, Jessi came with food in her hand.

Violetta smiled and accepted the food, but she hadn't eaten it yet. Making Jessi take a deep breath. Even though Jessi and Violetta haven't been friends for very long, Jessi considers Violetta like her sister.

"Hey, why don't you eat? Aren't you hungry ha? Hurry up and eat," Jessi scolded with her mouth still full. food.

"I'll eat it later," said Violetta wearily, as if she didn't have the enthusiasm to live. Problems kept coming, making Violetta dizzy thinking about them. Moreover, her father did not appear again after that night, making Violetta feel even more upset and restless. What if something happens to Robert? That's what Violetta always thinks.

Jessi stopped her eating activities, she turned to look at Violetta closely and then said, "Why? Are you going through a breakup, hm?"

Plak...

One punch landed on Jessi's arm, and Violetta hit her hard. How could Jessi think about that, even Violetta had never imagined herself falling in love with someone else.

"Don't be careless when you talk, how could I fall out of love, I just don't have a lover," replied Violetta, snorting in annoyance. This made Jessi laugh out loud.

"Dorr!!"

Someone shouted right behind the two women.

"Aaa!" The scream came from Jessi, the woman screamed loudly and almost died from shock. Jessi was cursing in her heart non-stop, she turned to see who dared to startle her while she was eating.
