Elowen's POV

My day simply went from disastrous to catastrophic. Everyone in the school ought to have heard about me after everything that happened in the cafeteria.

FLASHBACK

"Hi Merlin, missed me?" Riley waved at Merlin, grinning like an idiot. Merlin's face turned deathly pale as she gawked at Riley in horror. It probably felt like she was staring at a ghost. That would be the only possible explanation as to how Riley was standing before her looking perfectly okay and alive.

"What the hell are you doing here Riley? I thought you were supposed to make yourself scarce?" I whispered, glaring at her and she shrugged.

"I wasn't particularly told to make myself scarce," she replied, making me frown.

"What do you mean? Adrian said not to worry myself about seeing you."

"That's because he had me tied up," she replied, surprising me. Ok, I know Adrian didn't fancy her one bit but I didn't expect him to actually tie her up. Thinking about it, I don't think he is wrong to have done that.
