Chapter Six- The Rules

Liam (POV)

Today we head for home, and I will be able to introduce to my pack their new Luna and Queen. The past two days I have been busy with negotiations to even think of sex. Of course, I am still perturbed at my mate for all she has done. At least she will not know anyone in Crystal Lake and maybe we can get back to how it should be. It is only a two-hour drive to Crystal Lake and a half hour in I finally break the silence between us. “There are going to be some ground rules you will have to abide by. Other than that, you will like Crystal Lake.”

She turns towards me, “Rules?”

“Yes, rules.”

“This should be interesting?” She says looking back out the window.

“Rule one is a given. You are the Luna and Queen of all wolves so you will conduct yourself as such.”

“Ok, I can do that.” She says nodding her head while still looking out the window.

“Rule two, I am the King, and I can override any discission you made that I don’t approve of.”

I hear her umph but said nothing.

“Rule three, I can and will do anything I damn well please and that means sleep with who over I please.”

“Of course, you would throw that in.” She says sarcastically.

“And Rule four,” I begin ignoring her jab at me. “You will never ever let or allow any man to ever touch you as you are mine.”

Now she looks over at me. “So, you are able to sleep with other women causing me pain, yet I am not allowed to do the same?”

“That’s right, Those are my rules.”

“Bullshit!!”

“Watch your mouth.”

“That rule I will never abide with. Are you crazy?” She said turning red with anger.

“Never call me crazy.” I say through gritted teeth.

“If you think I will abide by any rules you got another thing coming.” She growled back at me.

“You will or else,”

“Or else what?” She says with her arms across her chest drawing my attention to her cleavage.

“Or else I will lock you in the room and place a guard to keep tabs on your where abouts.”

She smirk at me. “Just try it.”

I glanced at her then turn back to the road as I drove on. “You think I am kidding but I am not I will do it,”

She hmphed again, “We will see.” She said softly, yet I was still able to hear her.

The rest of the ride was silent which I didn’t mind. My mind was made up she will abide by all these rules, or I will know the reason why.

An hour later we pass through the territory of Crystal Lake and in another half, hour should be at the palace where I live.

We finally arrive and I notice Krystal staring up at the Palace in awe. I smile at her expression. “There is a smaller Packhouse further down the road, but the palace is for the royals and beta’s and such.” I say to her.

She nods and I step out as a guard walks over and opens her door. She smiles and thanks him as she steps out and walks over towards me. The servants are lined up to welcome me back as it is protocol. I gave instructions to take Krystal’s luggage and bags up to the King’s quarters and lead Krystal inside and up the stairs to the third floor to my quarters. I showed her around from the sitting room to our bedroom and the very large bathroom which I heard her gasp at the size. Then I showed her to her walk-in closet and mine, but she needn’t go in there. Then I left her, to get settled and unpacked, explaining I needed to go down to my office to get some needed work done.

She gave me a suspicious glare but only nodded as she walked to where her luggage was placed.

I walked down and into my large office and stopped in my tracks.
