Chapter Nineteen

Aura sat next to me listening to the conversation. We had been talking trying to think of solutions that would avoid war. So far we were still empty-handed. Aura had to leave a few times due to her morning sickness. Despite my protests, the Lunas took turns going with her to the bathroom making sure she was alright.

"I think we should launch small attacks, let them know we will not tolerate any further fighting," Alpha Jared suggested, again.

"If we do that, it will be considered an act of war," Alpha Naral argued. "I for one do not want another pack war. We all suffered so many casualties during the last one."

"I understand your point but if we keep waiting, it will be us trying to defend," Alpha Jared retorted.

They had been going back and forth for a while now.
