Silver Moon Pack

Silver Moon pack’s borders weren’t well guarded. Lyle had picked up a bag littered on the ground and stashed the severed head of Dominique inside it. Everyone seemed to be in a jubilant mood and even the guards were relaxed. When Lyle slipped past them, she noticed that though all of them were talking with each other, they had glossy eyes, as if they were entranced. They gave her a cursory glance and resumed talking. It was… strange.

She walked further into the territory. The whole pack was decorated with ribbons and lights and loud music was blaring from somewhere. As she walked through the streets, she found that there was hardly anyone around. Houses looked desolate and chilly winds blew, howling like they were mourning. Very few people were sitting in the warmth of their houses doing mundane jobs. Even though it was all very weird, she had to find her way to Ryder’s house. Lyle
