Chapter 56

After the incredible dinner, I convinced Max to let me help wash the dishes. I was scrubbing the plates, Max was sitting in one of the chairs at the kitchen bar and Auri was sitting on the couch across the room. True to Max’s words, it had already started to get dark as the waves crashed angrily at the rocks.

“Man, Morgan missed a good dinner tonight. He is gonna be pissed.”

I chuckled. “I figured you would always eat like that.”

“What? Like an Italian grandma cooks for us every night? Not even. Hell, even Auri sometimes decides it’s cereal night.”

What was the use of getting her back or recover and then you were going back to your family after that? So you could feel better , to ease your guilt? Then I rather you dun do anything to bring her more pains as she is happier now not knowing anything

already had another woman with a pup .. his own family. Sure I know she would be happy for him to move on but she didn’t deserve this after her sacrifice for him and his pack
