I am different.

Unlike Natalie who is the beta’s daughter and Giana whose parents are warriors, I am the daughter of a patrol guard.

I have never known power. Always craved for it though.

But, I have been told again and again in my life that I will only be able to become one of two things in life.

A patrol guard, which is highly unlikely because I am a woman. Or a patrol guard’s mate, a woman who will only birth a man’s children. That’s it.

I have always hated this. Always got bullied for it.

With no one to turn towards and no one to stand up for me, I have only known what it’s like to be on the receiving end.

Does this make me furious? Yes. Definitely.
