In the middle of the room, David was still unconscious. Chris looked at his sister as if she was a freak.
"What the hell is going on?" He yelled loudly and took a step towards Destiny. "You dare to come here and-"
Jake responded quickly. He snatched Chris' throat and dragged him back to the nearest wall, where he was pinned. "When talking to my mate, you be careful with your tone. Do you get what I'm saying? We weren't the ones who started it; we just happened to be there when your dad was hitting your mom. And, Chris, I've had enough of your crazy ass family. Please don't push me."
"You think we're crazy? Did you see her? What was that nonsense? No woman ever grows to that size." Chris shouted. "She went after our father, who is a man."
