Grace's story
On the way back, the silence was deafening. Nobody wanted to raise the obvious question that everyone was thinking about. Sam eventually broke the silence as they entered their area.
"Whose place first?"
Destiny instantly remembered that she was now living with Jake and said, "grandmother's."
Connery brought Grace inside after Sam parked outside her house. "I believe Grace should shift since it will hasten the healing process. Then we'll be able to talk.""All right, I'll call Mel," Jake stated as he walked away.
The men left, leaving the ladies to their own devices.Destiny stood there watching as her grandmother and mother grieved and hugged each other. They had not seen each other in 15 years.She shut the door and left them alone in the room to grieve and bond. Now that she wasn't worried about her mother, her thoughts drifted to other topics, such as who was her biological father.
