Valerie’s POVI awake groggily, unable to move my body and every time I try, pain electrifies me. I flinch and after a few more minutes trying to move a muscle in my body or even open my eyes, I give up.I am awake, but I cannot wake up as if I am trapped in my own body. How is that possible? I do not know. All I can remember is passing out after that rogue wolf dropped dead. I was hurting badly from my wound given to me by that wolf, who took a chunk out of my hind leg. Am I dead? The thought horrifies me but it doesn’t feel right either.I know I am not dead but I can’t say I am fully alive either. “She is awake. But she needs more strength.
