Scarlett’s POV

“Like what you see?”

I turned to face him. A tall, broad man with obsidian eyes that pierced deep into me. He wore a plain black mask, such a contrast to his dark suit with velvet streaks, and was making him appear even more mysterious and dangerous.

“I believe this is the first time you have seen something like this,” he said, his voice filled with amusement.

I swallowed hard. “I… I have seen it before,” I replied, though my words felt weak and uncertain.

He raised an eyebrow, trying to appear intrigued. “Where?” He was toying with me as if enjoying the game.

“Pornography,” I blurted out, immediately regretting it.

He laughed a laugh which was low and rich. A sound that sent shivers down my spine. “Cinderella…”

“What?” I asked, confused.

“You look like Cinderella with that gown and your hair,” He chuckled darkly. “Are you sure this is the right place for you?”

My frustration bubbled to the surface. “Who are you to tell me where I belong? I’m an adult, and I know how to make my own choices.”

His smile was wicked. “Barely an adult…”

My breath hitched as his hand brushed my waist, sending a jolt of electricity through me. He turned my head, and my eyes were drawn to a sultry scene across the room where two figures were making out. Their bodies were moving in perfect rhythm as they kissed and they appeared as if they were an art themselves.

How could a make out session appear like art? What on earth was this place?

A fire ignited inside me. I couldn’t understand it, but the primal energy of the room was awakening something deep within me. Something that I did not know existed inside me until now.

“There is something about you,” the mysterious and dangerous man whispered, his nose grazing the nape of my neck. “Your scent... it’s... alluring. What is it?”

“I didn’t apply any scent,” I whispered, my eyes fluttering closed as his breath caressed my skin.

He hummed, his hand now resting on the back of my neck. “Ah…” His fingers gently pressed against my skin, sending waves of warmth through me. “You shouldn’t have waltzed in here, Cinderella. This place isn’t meant for you. Something... much worse could happen.”

I turned to face him, my hand slipping into his hair, pulling him closer. “Worse?” I whispered, my voice dripping with defiance. “Bring it on.”

His lips crashed against mine in a bruising kiss while his hands moved as if they knew exactly what they wanted. My back hit the wall as his body pressed me into the darkness of the corner.

“It’s dark here,” I murmured.

“Trust me, Cinderella,” he whispered against my lips, his breath hot and heavy. “I want no one else to see you like this.”

Like what? Before I could ask, his kiss deepened, and I felt his hands slip under my gown, finding my body in ways that made my mind dizzy with need.

“I will kill anyone who sees you like this,” he growled. His hand brushed all the way from my thighs to my throbbing vagina.

I moaned softly, my mind fogged with desire and confusion. “What are you doing to me?”

“The question is,” he whispered, his lips brushing my ear, “What are you doing to me?”

I gasped as his hands explored further and then he paused, his eyes dark with intent.

“Which pack’s princess are you?” he asked, his voice filled with hunger and curiosity.

Princess? I wasn’t a princess. I was just a girl who had stolen a moment of freedom, a glimpse into a world I couldn’t truly understand. In a true sense, I was what he had called me earlier. A Cinderella.

“I would like to remain anonymous,” I said, my voice steady despite the fire that was burning inside me.

He chuckled softly. “Fair enough.” His hand slid up my thigh, and I shivered. “Would you like to know me?”

“No,” I replied, my voice more sure now even though the storm was brewing inside me.

He smiled darkly, his grip tightening on me. “What are you really here for, princess?”

I met his gaze, my eyes burning with defiance. “I’m here for sex. If you can’t give it to me, I will find someone else who will.”

His expression hardened as a possessive gleam ignited in his eyes. “Like hell, someone else will touch you.”

And with that, he hoisted me over his shoulder, his hand slapping my bottom lightly as he made his way toward the exit of the ballroom.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked with fear and anticipation.

“To give you what you need,” he replied, his voice a low growl.

Mysterious. Possessive. Dangerous. What a recipe for a disaster!

At that moment, I had no idea that I had contributed to a potential war between two packs that would burn my life.

  • Alpha’s Forbidden Temptation   Chapter 179

Scarlet’s POVWhen I arrived at Elizabeth’s home, she was lying in bed with two nurses attending to her. “Grandma,” I said gently, walking up to her side. “How are you feeling?”She turned her head slowly and gave me a tired smile. “Ah, Scarlet, dear… I’m hanging on. How are you?”“I’m fine,” I said, pulling a chair close to her bed. “But you don’t look well…”She waved a fragile hand. “Just age catching up with me. It’s nothing new.”Her eyes moved down to my hand, and the second she saw the ring, her smile faltered. I caught the flicker of something bitter, resentment, perhaps, or grief.“I saw the news,” she said after a moment. Her voice was low and rough. “Are you… happy?”I didn’t hesitate. “Yes. I really am. Grandma, I finally have a chance at something I’ve dreamed about all my life. A family. My own little world. Dante loves me. He treats me the way I always hoped someone would. He is the father of my child… and now he is going to be mine. I don’t have to chase him or live in

Scarlet’s POV“Goddess,” Vespara grinned, flopping dramatically onto my bed. “He puts one ring on your finger, and suddenly you are a whole new woman. Who even are you?”I blushed hard.“Oop—look at that blush!” she gasped. “I have never seen you turn this red. I’m gonna cry. My old Scarlet is gone.”“Stop,” I groaned, half laughing, half trying to hide behind my hand.“Show me the ring,” she demanded, sitting up like a hawk.I extended my hand sheepishly. She took one look and stilled. “Wait a second… that’s not just any ring.”“What?” I blinked.“That’s his mother’s ring,” Vespara whispered. “Alpha Dante’s mom. I saw it once in a portrait hanging in his office. Same sapphire, same setting.”My heart thudded in my chest.I had already loved the ring as it was simple yet timeless, a deep sapphire surrounded by a delicate swirl of diamonds. But now, knowing it was an heirloom? That it belong to the woman who raised the man I love?It meant more than I could say. Before I could recover

  • Alpha’s Forbidden Temptation   Chapter 177

Dante’s POVThe morning air was cool against my bare skin, but the warmth beside me made me forget everything else.Dante.His arm was draped over my waist, his breath brushing softly against the back of my neck. I could feel his heartbeat pressed against my spine. My body ached. With memory. With a softness I hadn’t felt in years. His fingertips moved slowly over my waist, tracing lazy circles, as if reminding himself I was still here.“You’re awake,” he murmured, his voice husky from sleep, lips brushing my shoulder.I nodded. “Barely.”His hand slid lower, grazing my thigh. He pulled me closer, until there was no space left between us.“You always this clingy in the morning?” I whispered, teasing.“Only when I’m scared it was all a dream.”His words were quiet but soaked in truth. I turned, just enough to catch the look in his eyes, half-shuttered with sleep, but darkened with something else. He leaned in, kissed me deeply, with a tenderness that melted through me. It was the kind

  • Alpha’s Forbidden Temptation   Chapter 176

Dante’s POVIn her naked glory, she was lying in front of me Beautiful wheatish colour of her body. Hairs. Everything was so natural and real. So mine. Her breasts were fuller than I imagined all the time. More than a handful. Heavy and soft. Her caramel nipple was protruding in all its glory. The same nipples she used to fed our daughter. I wondered how her protuded belly would be like. She is so sexy. So fuller. From everywhere. She arched into me, gasping when my mouth closed around her breast, hand already slipping between her thighs. She was wet, ready, aching for me.I groaned at the feel of her. "You are going to drive me insane."She couldn't think. Couldn't speak. All this sensation. She never experienced it before. It was so damn maddening. "Dante I can't take it anymore," She whispered, her voice trembling with anticipation, her eyes half-lidded and shining.I leaned closer, his breath hot against her lips. "You won't have to wait any longer."Then I paused, suddenly r

  • Alpha’s Forbidden Temptation   Chapter 175

Scarlet’s POVThe door closed behind us with a soft click.I stood in the middle of Dante’s room or our room now, maybe. The ring on my finger still felt foreign, as though I had borrowed someone else’s happiness and was afraid of waking up.He was behind me. I could feel him before he moved. My breath hitched the moment I sensed his warmth at my back.Neither of us said anything. The air was too full, too heavy with the weight of emotions neither of us knew how to articulate. The light from the moon spilled through the tall window and cast silver onto the floor and painting our shadows in soft blue-gray.“You’re quiet,” Dante finally murmured.“I don’t want to ruin this moment,” I whispered.“You couldn’t ruin anything,” he said. And then, slowly, his hands came to rest on my arms. “You have never ruined a single thing.”My eyes closed at his touch. His fingers skimmed up and down my skin, like he was reminding himself that I was real. That we were real. That this wasn’t a dream.“I t

  • Alpha’s Forbidden Temptation   Chapter 174

Scarlet’s POVFour years ago, I walked into a world that didn’t feel real. The Alpha’s Ball. I still remember the red velvet drapes, the glimmering chandeliers, and the sounds of pleasure and laughter echoing down the marble halls. I had never seen a world like that before—women kissing women, men dancing with men, people touching each other like they belonged to no one but the moment. My sheltered upbringing had never prepared me for such freedom. Such wildness. I had been raised to think of passion as a sin, but that night, I saw it worn like a crown. And then, in the middle of that chaos, I saw him. A man whose presence silenced the noise. His eyes were the first thing I noticed; dark, deep, and a little dangerous. That night changed the course of my life. I wasn’t sure if it was fate or foolishness, but I had given him something that could never be undone: my body and my heart. Now, four years later, I stood outside the same mansion again. The full moon painted everything in silver
