Chapter 31

A couple of guys are watching me and Angel dance. They’re sitting on the leather couch closest to us and it’s hard to ignore them. They’re good looking guys and I’m enjoying their attention. We have their attention but they aren’t close enough to touch me without permission. Angel’s arm wraps around my waist, our bodies grinding together as we vibe. I pull out my phone and hold it above us because over-sized t-shirts with pockets are life. She closes her eyes tight and smiles wide and I stare at the camera as I record a Snarl. We continue dancing as I press share and slip the phone back into my pocket.

Eventually we make our way through the crowd. Angel and Rem hug and kiss in greeting while I pick up another jello shot. Rem shakes his head and hands me a cup.
