Chapter -21 “Another Chance?”
I entered Alice’s room and was knocked out by a heavenly scent of sandalwood. It calmed my inner beast as I stepped further inside, but that wasn’t what made my breath hitch.
I froze, the source turned out to be a beautiful young woman in a pretty thigh-length matte black dress, hair tied up in a half up down style, some curls were escaping to dangle around her heart-shaped face making her look like an angel descended from heaven.
Ellyn?
She saw me checking her from head to toe and a rosiness carved her cheeks a dark shade of pink. I shook my head to clear my mind, then cleared my throat to gain her attention, but immediately regretted as her chocolaty orbs met mine.
