Chapter -20 “Puzzle to unravel”

I was in my room’s balcony, sitting on a black recliner with a steaming cup of coffee in my hands, sipping as I watched a beautiful morning of my realm, Dragomair.
Everything looked so calm and soothing as chilled air touched my skin but also had a perfect amount of sun rays to give me a warm hug. And this breathtaking view of green mountains and blue sky, sweetest voice of birds singing in chorus.
The beauty of this environment always helps me to come up with a good solution to my problems, or stop incoherent thoughts that keep nagging inside my head.
I didn’t know why I thought that, but I had a feeling that something’s wrong. I could tell Alice was hiding something from me that continuously worries her, and I want to help badly.

Alice P O V I skipped a breath as he shook his head as if chastising his own thoughts before standing from his comfortable space to amble towards me... WTF!? What did he want to do now?!
