KILLIAN

I left the elders chamber and headed for Laura’s.

‘Ding dong,’ I rang the doorbell.

“Who is it?” Laura asked.

“It’s Killian.”

“What do you want from me again, Killian?” She asked rudely.

“I’ve come here to deliver a message to you and this message is very important,” I said adding a sly smirk.

Laura opened the door and I tried to enter but she placed her hand on my chest. “Stop! You can say whatever you want to say, standing here.”

“Ok,” I smiled. “I’ve organized a meeting before sunset and I came here to inform you that your presence would be needed in that meeting.”

“What are you planning to do, Killian?” She asked, wearing a curious look on her face.

“You’ll find out during the meeting,” I said while walking away.

“I should advise you, don’t try to go through that path, you’ll suffer dearly if you do,” she said as I halted and turned around.

“You don’t need to —“

She shut the door before I could say anything. I smiled villainously and left.

I left Laura’s chamber and heade
