"Stella!" Jarek's surprised voice shifts my attention to him, and I find some girl hugging Jarek.
There is a huge gash running down the right side of her face, but even with the scar, she is beautiful.
"I missed you so much, Jay." She smiles at him with tear-filled eyes.
Jarek looks at her with a small smile, but then his gaze moves to me, and his smile widens.
"I want you to meet someone." He looks back at the girl whose name I have figured is Stella.
Stepping away from her, he wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me to his side. Stella looks at us with a confused smile.
"Stella, meet my woman, Gianna."

Jarek My eyes roam around the lounge when I don't feel Gianna's presence. A frown appears on my face because she is not there. I saw her talking with Diana and helping her with the breakfast buffet. But now, I don't sense her here. Expanding my senses, I try to feel her presence, but my wolf becomes restless when we realize she is not on the clubhouse's ground. Where did she go? Suddenly, I lose my interest in whatever Stella is talking to me about, as all my focus shifts to Gianna. "Hey, Jay, are you listening to me?" Stella places her hand on my clenched fist, only for me to pull back my hand. My wolf becomes agitated, and so do I. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" She softly asks, sounding worried and scared. Of course, she would have sensed the change in my mood and knew that my wolf was triggered. My eyes move to the scar on her face, and guilt swarms my heart.

GiannaI don't know what happened to me, but something overtook my senses, and all I know is that he needed me. Gianna Looking around Jarek's room, I find some of my unpacked stuff lying in the corner, which is yet to be unpacked.
