In a world where mate bonds rarely exist, Alpha Jarek finds himself in a dilemma when a confident, headstrong girl walks into his clubhouse. The pull he feels towards her is undeniable, but it is just because of a bond, or is it something more? The last thing Gianna expected when she decides to live with her long-lost father is to meet a man who turns her world upside down just in a single glance. He is dangerous, yet she finds herself gravitating towards him. She can bring him to his knees, yet she is his strength. He might be ruthless, but she has the power to destroy him. She might be forgiving, but she will show no mercy to anybody who tries to come between them. Fate might bring two people together, but it is love that binds their destiny.

A deep tired sigh passes through my lips when I stare at the ceiling after my alarm goes off. Silencing the alarm, I rack my fingers through my hair, then, settling my arm behind my head, I enjoy a few peaceful moments before I have to head into the chaos of the world.
Back in the days, our kind lived in huge packs away from the human population, but now things have changed. Now we live among humans, and most of them are aware of our true nature. We are feared and respected, but some consider us an abomination and want to eliminate our kind.
Even though now packs no longer exist, our wolves still need that connection with other wolves, so we live in small groups. My grandfather started this club after our pack was invaded by hunters, which forced everyone to leave their homes. To keep everyone safe, he decided it was safe to mingle among humans and learn to live among them.
Since the pack system is strong among wolves, it was not difficult to establish a club that loosely follows the same hierarchy as packs. Werewolves from other packs and some rogues also began to join our club, and soon even humans became a part of our world. Now our club not only has werewolves, but even humans are also our brothers.
When my father started recruiting humans in our club, some werewolves objected to his decision because some of the arrogant bastards thought humans were lesser than us. But Dad always instilled in our mind, loyalty and bravery have nothing to do with kind or nature. And his decision was proved right when numerous times our human brothers risked their lives for us.
So now here we are running a club, which has gained the position of one of the most feared and respected clubs in our town. People of the town fear us; at the same time, they look up to us to help them and protect them.
Getting up, I make my way towards the bathroom as I stretch my arms above my head. Setting the water on warm, I let the warm water soothe my aching muscles as I stand under the running water.
After my dad's death, being his only son, I got the position of Alpha at the age of eighteen. It was not easy to exercise my control over a dozen hotheaded werewolves and humans. Still, soon I showed everyone that I would not be disrespected, and neither should they mistake my age for challenging me for my position. I have earned the respect of the club, and with the help of some of the most loyal members, I have been successfully running this club for twelve years now.
Even though I love my brothers and this club, there is still a sense of loneliness and longing inside me. My life is anything but mundane, but sometimes my wolf and I do long for stability in my life.
Changing into black jeans and a white shirt, I slip my leather jacket on and walk outside my room. The voice of brothers who have returned from the night shift echoes through the kitchen along with the others who have just woken up, making me lightly chuckle as they are fighting over the breakfast.
"Morning, wolves." I sit at the breakfast bar and nod my head towards my brothers.
"Morning, Alpha." I hear a few greeting me back while others bow their heads.
A breakfast plate is placed in front of me, consisting of scrambled eggs and toast.
My grandfather named our club Wolf Blood, and since then, each member of our club, whether human or werewolf, has been called a wolf.
What I love about my club is that everyone is treated here with complete respect, and we all know our brothers have our back no matter what their kind is. We all are ready to give our lives for our brothers and this club. No kind, blood, or status divides us. We all are one.
"Alpha, we have spotted scorpions around our territory." Daniel, my beta, takes a seat beside me and digs into his breakfast. "We need to increase our patrolling and inform the town members to alert us if they find anything suspicious."
Scorpions are our enemies, and several times we have gone to war against them. They are criminals and are involved in all sorts of illegal businesses. While our hands are not clean, but still, the club owns many legal businesses, which helps the club's finances run smoothly.
"Call every wolve back to the club, and inform everyone to avoid going anywhere alone." Sipping my coffee, I clench my jaws in anger, "If these motherfuckers are planning anything against us, this time we will fucking wipe their existence."
"Don't worry, Alpha, I have already called everyone and informed them about the scorpions. Everyone is waiting for them to make any mistake, so we can satisfy our thirst by shedding these bastards' blood." He smirks while his hand turns into a claw.
Grunting in approval, I check my phone to see Eric's message informing me that he has passed the territory and now he is heading towards the club.
Eric was dad's friend and is a human, but he is scary as hell and can make any werewolves shit in their pants. After dad's death, he helped me with the club and eliminated every head raised against me. He is like a father to the club and one of the most loyal wolves.
Eric has told me that he is going away for a while to resolve some personal issue. Even though we all are family, we still respect each other privacy, so I haven't questioned him. But last night, he informed me that he is bringing someone with him and he will tell me everything once he comes back.
Lifting my head, I look towards the entrance when the door of the clubhouse opens. Eric nods his head in my direction while his eyes hold a shine that we have witnessed on rare occasions when he is happy.
Some of the wolves whistle in appreciation when another pair of footsteps reaches my ear. Shifting on my seat, I turn my full attention towards this new girl who is looking around the club with disinterest.
She looks at the wolves like they are gum beneath her boot, and then slightly raising her chin, she turns her face away from them. Her eyes connect with mine, and a wave of calmness wash over me while I feel myself drowning in her big brown eyes.
She presses her lips together, drawing my attention to her bow-shaped lips. Lifting her hand, she tucks a few strands of loose hair behind her ear while I follow her hand with my eyes. There is something captivating about this girl that makes it difficult for me to look away from her.
"Alpha." Eric stands in front of me, forcing me to turn my attention to him. I can sense everyone is curious about this newcomer, which for some reason, is irritating my wolf and me. "She is my daughter." He motions her to come forward while there is an unmistakable hint of pride in his voice as he introduces her.
Her eyes line with tears as she looks at him, but blinking away, she dries her eyes, locking her every emotion.
"Gianna, he is our Alpha Jarek." He places his arm around her shoulders while smiling at me.
"Hi, Jarek."Her soft voice causes my heart to skip a beat. Surprisingly, her not addressing me with my title doesn't annoy me; if anything, I like the sound of my name coming our her lips.
"Gianna." I nod my head while my wolf purs in delight when a light dusting of blush graces her cheeks while a hint of a small smile appears on her face.
Gianna The entire atmosphere of the clubhouse has shifted. And I was not surprised when almost everyone started preparing for a party, leaving a few of the men to tend to the broken wall. However, Jarek ordered them to stay put at the party and any celebration until all over members recovered and security was reinforced. Although there were slight complaints, they all knew what things should be prioritized. So in record time, all the things are back in order, and now again, the club is preparing to throw a crazy-ass party to welcome twins. An involuntary smile uplifts the corners of my lips as my gaze falls onto my lap. Both of my boys are sleeping, completely unaware of the chaos they were born into. Somewhere I am still having a hard time wrapping my mind around the thought that I am a mother. It feels unreal... almost foreign. However, the love with which my heart is bursting is something unexplainable. The emotions are so intense and overpowering that I can only describe thi
Gianna The gate of the club has been blown off, and some of the members are working on fixing a new gate. The front wall is also partially damaged, as well as the side. There are more people patrolling around the club than I have ever seen, and I have spotted a few wolves as well running around the perimeter. Uncle's men are also here helping the members with repairs and even with security. It feels so different watching all of them working together because they are so much different from each other. Wolves are reckless while they are organized. Wolves follow their instincts, and the others are highly calculative with their every move. They are poles apart, yet they have banded together and worked as a team. And they make an amazing team. Well, if not, then I wouldn't be sitting here alive today. I had asked my uncle to update the club about everything and also help Dad to secure the club because I had a doubt that maybe Maverick had something up under his sleeve, and I didn't wa
Gianna Wrapping my arms around myself, I lean against the car as I watch the dead bodies of rogues coming out of the building. A part of me wishes this wasn't how their life should have ended; some of them might still have some hope of returning back from their madness. Until now, I have forced myself to shut down my emotions so I don't hesitate to do what I need to do. But now, when my barriers are down, there is kind of a hollow feeling seeing so much death around me. I wish there were a way to help them, but then I know when you leave your humanity, then there is nothing left to salvage. There are bodies of humans who turned themselves into this hybrid by introducing werewolves' blood into their system. Honestly, there were the worst, and there was this craziness that surrounded them, and there was no point of return for them. Rogues are born, but these hybrids are mad, and during the full moon, they face severe consequences of their greed. Jarek told me most of these can't eve
GiannaCarefully, walking inside the dimly lit hallway, I look around and notice there are numerous doors aligned to both sides of the hallway.I can hear the desperate pleas of people from behind the doors, but I keep moving forward. As of now, they are safe inside, and I don't know who they are, so it is better that they stay behind the locked doors as of now.My body is aching as everything is catching up to me, but I am pushing myself because this is not the time to focus on these things. I need to help Jarek and end all this once and for all.I am still unable to understand why Maverick did all this and what his motive was behind all this. He seems mentally sick, and there is something unsettling about his personality that gives me the creeps. And the thing which makes him even more creepy is that he behaves so normally, like whatever he has done or is doing is something very normal, nothing out of the ordinary. No matter what, I don't feel an iota of sympathy for him... sick or
Gianna Suddenly, I realize that we are still in the enemy camp, and we aren't out of danger. Where the hell is everyone? They should have been here by now. I just hope the tracker is working fine. After I had searched about injectable microchips, I made Uncle arrange it for me and got the chip implanted in my wrist. Uncle must have alerted the club, so they should have been here by now. "Jarek." Leaning away, I look at him and search around, "Maverick, he is nowhere." He instantly frowns and looks around as if he has also just realized this. Before we can think about it much, the thundering footsteps reach our ears, and they get louder and louder. They must have been alerted that something was not right, or maybe Maverick informed them. Whatever it is, we have no option but to fight them. "Stay close to me all the time." He places a quick kiss on my forehead and helps me get on my feet. He steps away from me and lets his wolf overtake his body. As soon as he transitioned into
Gianna Using the wall as a support, Maverick stands up again, still holding on to the chains tightly. His wounds aren't healing, but still, they don't actually slow him down. Even though he is injured, he still attacks Jarek. Jarek's upper lips roll in inside his mouth as he snarls, bare his sharp canines as he dodges Maverick's attack. From the outside, this looks unmatched fight because Maverick is facing Jarek's powerful wolf, but it isn't. Because Maverick, surprisingly, is stronger than he looks and doesn't look like this is the first time he is fighting a wolf. I am too focused on the fight that I don't see when someone attacks me from the side. I am tackled on the ground, and air knocks out of my lungs. I break my fall when bringing my hands in front of me, yet, my face hits the ground. A sharp hiss leaves my mouth as my cheek splits open. But before I can turn around, I am with something sharp in my side. Tilting slightly, I see Stella holding a knife that is coated i
