[Erica]How a person could carry so much grief within his heart but move forward in life was beyond her. She was thankful for having a loving family. Erica]She let out a muffled groan in the pillow. The hotel room was doused in darkness. After re-emerging from the forest, she saw how everyone was awaiting their arrival. Her parents were looking anxious but when they saw her, their expression turned relaxed. [Elias]"What? Why?" Erica asked him, perplexed. Elias' lips thinned. He wanted to withhold the information for a little longer. But the stakes were high now and Erica had to be alert and aware. [Erica]"So...you got to know something before I tell you my whereabouts," Erica began nervously. Drake was still in the dark about her identity. Her eyes darted towards her parents who nodded encouragingly. She took a deep breath before she confessed, "I...am a mage." Drake stared at her blankly while she tweedled her thumbs.
