Chapter Five

Both Sides

I go into our room and find him laying on our bed face first.

“Are you okay?” I ask him.

He turns around and sees me.

“Ya. Why do you ask?” He asks me with a smirk and at that exact minute I realize I have slipped into his ambush.

“Just like that.” I reply and walk to the exit of our room.

I gasp when a hand gets pulled over my cheek and another arm snakes up to my midriff.

“Where are you going babe?” He asks me.

“Out of the room.” I reply with the same evilness in my tone.

“Not so fast.” He says and pushes me to the wall.

I can feel his hot breath on my neck but I know better. If he doesn’t get away from me, I swear to god I will have an outburst.

He studies me with the lust visible in his eyes. I know what will go down if I don’t get out of here fast.

“You know what? I think I will go.” I say and try to push him away from me but boy he is strong. I can think he is a wall.

I give him the pissed off expression and he laughs.

“Maybe next time.” He says and stops pushing me and go backs to our bed and takes my pillow in his arm.

Uhhhh…..

I run out of the room and I can hear him laughing so hard that I assume was all a joke.

I grin.

Chris P.O.V

I stare at her sitting there on the lounge and I get a wrong intention in my mind. I look as she looks up from her phone and then looks down doing god knows what.

I exit the room and go into my workroom where I spent the whole day.

Our mate deserves way better than us, Logan my wolf tells me. I agree with him.

She forgot that at one point when she was deep in her thoughts her mind link opened and I could hear whatever she was thinking. I took advantage of this.

I knew what she was feeling, and I am surprised. I thought she had nice thoughts, like how a great view I am but turns out it’s the complete opposite.

Don’t worry I will never ever hurt her. She is all I have; I tell myself.

I look around and I go to our room and lie on the bed. After a minute I can hear her worried thoughts about me.

Let’s put plan 1 into action.

She enters the room and I can smell her thick chocolaty smell.

“Are you okay?” She asks me very concerned for me.

“Ya. Why do you ask?” I say with a grin and she carries out that she has sunk into my ambush.

“Just like that.” She says and tries to exit the room but I’m faster than her.

I put my hand over her cheek and another one snakes round her waist.

“Where are you going babe?” I ask her.

“Out of the room.” She replies with the same evilness i her voice.

“Not so fast.” I say and I turn her and push her into the wall.

I can feel the lust growing in my eyes but I know she doesn’t want it yet.

“You know what? I guess I will go.” She says and tries to and struggles to me out of my way but I don’t move and she gives me a very pissed off expression.

“Maybe next time.”

I give in and go back to the bed and grab her pillow.

Hailey runs out of the room and I laugh into hysterics.

Mon baby

After some minutes of laughing I calmed down and went to have a shower. I felt the cold water rush down my back.

After drying myself I wore a pair of grey sweats and a shirt and come out.

My mate is sleeping in the bed without even saying night! I kinda expected that.

I run down to eat pizza and wash my face and go into our bed and then I see her the way I shouldn’t have. Her shirt is above her chest and I can see everything.

I smile and climb into the bed careful not to wake my mate up. Her innocent face is warming my whole body up.

My wolf takes over me and it wraps my arms around her.

“Why did you do that?” I ask Logan ( my wolf ).

“Because you needed it.” It comes back and goes back to falling asleep.

At that exact moment she spins and wakes up.

“I uh….” She says and jerks up.

“It’s okay babe.” I reply and put my face in her neck.

She lies down and relaxes and sleeps. I can feel her warmth.

“Wake up.”

It’s the only warning I hear as Hailey stuffs my face with a pillow.

“What are you doing?” I ask trying to tell her not to suffocate me.

“Wake up.” She screams and I blush. Is it normal for an Alpha to blush on that?

“Fine, I’m up.” I tell her trying not to show her I was blushing.

I push the pillow up and I see her in a floral button-up t-shirt dress with white kicks. I need to mark her.

“You awake?” She says and I notice she has done her makeup.

“babe.” I say and get up from the bed.

“Alpha, I was wondering if I could go out today?” She says with hope in her eyes.

“First it’s Chris. Second, fine I will come with you.” I tell her.

“Don’t you have things to do?” She asks me.

“Yeah, I do but it’s okay. Today is the last day, anyway.” I tell her and go to the washroom.

After eating both of us exit the house. I go into my garage and bring out my car.

“Let’s go then?” I say.

She nods and then gets in the car.

I back the car out of the garage and I turn it across the street. This is the first time my mate is seeing my town. I better make it good.

After fifty minutes of taking her around, I stop the car at a mall.

“It’s time for shopping.” I tell her and I watch as she smirks.

Hailey follows me inside and we take the lift.

After going in Urban Outfitters and I lead him out, I see a girl. She is standing there with a phone in her hands with a few bags in her hand.

She looks at me and then she realizes that I had been staring at her.

She has blonde hair with a thin figure, has hazel eyes and her cheekbones show.

The girl smiles at me and then Hailey calls out.

“Are you there?” She says.

“Ya sorry.” I say.

After shopping we head back home and she goes to change.

She changes into a plain white shirt and black leggings. She comes out, and she looks so good I can eat her. Why do I think of these things?

Then it hits me it’s almost midnight. She is looking outside the window and is not paying attention.

I go up behind her and kiss her neck. She squirms and tries to get out of my grasp but boy she was wrong.

I leave many wet kissed up and down her neck and she hates it.

I turn her around and kiss her.

Then she backs up and goes into the washroom.

This girl has great escape plans.
