Dorian asked once he noticed the solicitous expression which tainted his mate's face as soon as they got into the car.

This time Dorian decided to drive with his mate alone while his beta and gamma would drive in another car with other lycans.

"Yes, only a little nervous"

She replied,her breaths coming out shallow until she felt something warm torch her hand.

"Don't be"

He assured taking her hand in his

"You'll be fine"

He kissed on the back of her palm and for some unknown reason,this small gesture immediately calmed her nerves,she was getting slightly used to his presence and small gestures as such,it felt more normal if not natural for him to do so.

She returned his smile and watched him ignite the engine which was followed by a soft hum from the car.

While on the road, Dorian kept their fingers intertwined as he drove and occasionally,he would draw her hand in a quick peck,all of which Penelope barely paid attention to as her eyes were glued
