The sun was out shining brightly and the beach area seemed a little crowded, a mother was seated under a purple umbrella. She and her daughter who looked like a year old had the same copper brown hair and gray eyes. They also wore matching flowery one piece bikinis. Elise looked at them lovingly and Carl hugged her.

There was a group of teenagers playing with a ball that rolled over to their side. Carl picked the black and white ball and threw it back. They all yelled their thanks and continued their game. They walked down to a row of some old shops made from browned tin roof and palm leaves, there was a row of coconut trees behind them, that gave shade to the sellers.

Carl pulled Elise into one of the shops, where an old man dressed in a blue shirt and jean shorts that matched his eyes, sold jewellery. They both looked at his little collection and Carl bought her a silver and ruby pendant with the inscription of the infinity sign.
