Chapter 235

Bailey's POV

It had been two days since the war and the pack house was a flurry of activity. Dad was exceedingly busy. Since Grey was incapacitated, he had to take up responsibilities until he was awake. The evacuees were back to their homes and everyone was pitching in to get the pack back in order.

I, on the other hand, spent everyday beside Grey. Mum and I would take turns babysitting Charlotte. She was a bundle of joy and the entire pack welcomed her with open arms.

Most times she would sit with me in the room, watching Grey and she had taken quite a liking to him. She would want to touch him and hold his hand as well but on this particular day, I was alone.

Sometimes I could see his eyes moving through his eyelids but he wouldn't wake up or his breathing would be deeper at some intervals.

The codex and the Sapphire were kept at his bedside. Wolves that were close to it usually felt increase in power and strength and it was thought best to leave it near him so that he could heal f

Now I am going to ask a question. If Zane and Gray were fighting near the light, if Greyson came back, could Zane have come back too? although without his wolf since the only one who carried his wolf was Grey.
