Alpha Grey's Point Of View

I couldn't believe Bailey stood me up for Miguel. I had told her to come home early because I wanted to make her feel better after a very horrifying day in school.

I had planned a simple dinner for us alone.  For her, it would be a normal dinner but for me, it was going to be our romantic dinner. 

We would talk and have fun like we always do. I wanted to do it to lighten her mood and then she stood me up for that guy she barely knows.

I cannot wait for her to know that I'm her mate. Although Bailey has had her wolf, she's not able to recognize me as her mate. Her wolf had never spoken to her.

I held myself together. I didn't want to get any angrier but I had to make sure she was fine.

I made sure the men I had kept to watch over her followed her to where the boy had taken her.

Although Miguel is the son of Tiffany I'm not okay with him being around her, not just him but any man. Bailey is mine and mine to protect and I will do just that.

I was about to go in when someone called out to me. I turned around to answer and it was Recce.

"Alpha Grey." He had a smile on his face, I watched as the maid carried his thing to the room and then I walked to him.

"Bro!" Recce is like my brother, he's been a good friend and a beta and I respect him.

I climbed down the stairs and gave him a handshake.

"Your back. How was it? We have a lot of things to talk about. I was just waiting for you…" I was unable to finish my statement when I heard Annie's voice trail. She screamed from the top of the stairs and ran down in a flash to meet him.

"Babe." The moment she was in front of him, she clung to his body.

"Babygirl!" This is so cheesy. 

I feel so felt out. I'm unable to do this with my mate because she doesn't know she's my mate. Even if she knows, what would she do? That's my greatest fear, she might end up hating me for keeping such a secret from her because she's wanted to find her mate since she turned 16.

"You guys continue with your love-dovey. I'll go up to my room. "I made to go to my room but I heard another scream. It was Bailey's.

"Daddddd!" She screamed and I instantly turned to her. My girl looked so hot.

She had this back skirt that was so short. I had told her not to put this on but Bailey would never listen and she wore  this on a date with Miguel.

Recce picked his little girl up her feet as she closed her body to him.

He better be careful with the way he holds her. He shouldn't crush any of her.

"It's been like forever dad." she quivered. It's only been two weeks but I know she missed him.

Placing her on the ground he looks at her from head to toe.

"Where did you go wearing this short skirt baby girl?" He asked and I'm sure Bailey gulped down. I could feel the rate of her heart beat increase.

"I went on a dinner date." She explained biting her plum red lips, did she know how hot she looked whenever she did that to her lips?

"You now go on dates, baby? I was only away for two weeks sweetie." Recce said and Bailey laughed.

"Come on dad, it's a friendly dinner date." She laughed.

"With her crush-" Annie added and ifrowned slightly.

Did Bailey have a crush on Miguel?

"Mom!" She stamped her feet playfully.

"Come on mom. I don't have a crush on Miguel and we aren't even friends."  Her voice was full of happiness as she said that.

"But he asked you out on a date and you went on a date with him?"Recce twitched his lips as he looked at his daughter.

I'm sure he must see her as his baby girl.

"Dad! C'mon." She laughed.

"I missed you baby." He hugged her again. Finally pulling away from the hug he looked at her.

"Bailey. You aren't allowed to have a boyfriend until you are 18 okay? Even if the boy is your  mate. He will wait for you to turn 18."

"But dad!" she grumbled 

"No ifs and buts baby." 

"I'm almost 18, Dad."

"Almost you're not there yet." I love this rule. I can't have my girl getting a boyfriend while I'm here.

"I'll just go up. You guys have fun." I waved and walked in. I've always been a quiet person. I am not one to put my nose in other people's business and I think it's time to retire to bed.

I walked into my room, took off my clothes and had a shower. Finally, I walked out.

My phone which was on the bed beeped. I walked in to check it as I just had to receive a notification.

Walking to pick up the phone I tied a towel on my waist and picked the phone up. It was an email and I think it's an important email.

I was trying to check out the mail when my door flung open.

Who barged into my room that way?

I turned to see Bailey at my doorstep, she was strapped in pajamas and had her phone in front of her eyes.

"Uncle Grey." She called finally, taking her phone off her eyes, she looked around for me and the moment her eyes landed on me she had a surprised look.

Her lips opened slightly and I watched her eyes go down to the bulge behind my towel. 

She swallowed hard and her heartbeat increased. 

That's my girl.

I smirked inside of me. She looked down at my bulged and she gulped
