Unexpected Revelations

Author: Emily J.
(Elara's POV)

I standing alone with a bleeding forehead, Isabella being comforted by her brother, and hostile pack members surrounding us.

James waited for my response, his expression unreadable. In that moment, staring at his familiar face, I found my thoughts drifting unexpectedly.

What would Lucian Thorne do in this situation?

The thought startled me with its suddenness. Would the Alpha King's wolf rise to defend me against such obvious injustice? Or would he dismiss me as just another silver-contaminated omega causing trouble in his pack territory?

The realization that I cared about his potential reaction confused me even more than the chaos unfolding around me.

"Let's go," James said firmly, his wolf's dominance clearing a path through the crowd. "You need that wound treated."

I followed him silently, aware of the whispers trailing behind us.

Outside, Mike called after me. "You don't belong here, Elara. Never have, never will."

I kept walking, Emily whimpering inside me.

  • Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother   Pack Confrontations and Bitter Truths

**(God's POV)**Harold Foster's face turned as dark as a moonless night. The public humiliation Diana Reed had just delivered cut deeper than any silver blade. For over twenty hunting seasons, she had acted as if everything revolved around her, and now her true nature was finally exposed.Elara Rivers sighed, watching Harold chase after Diana's retreating figure like a lost pup. "Can he truly accept Diana's real nature when it's this blatantly exposed? The she-wolf is completely silver-touched."Simon Foster frowned, his analytical mind already working through the legal implications. "Unfortunately, Diana's pup could indeed claim part of our hunting territories by pack law. She has grounds for a legitimate challenge."Madam Evelyn Foster spoke with surprising calm, her voice steady despite the chaos around them. "Let Diana pursue it. Let her show everyone exactly what kind of wolf she really is."Simon nodded to James Foster, Julian Foster, and Elara. His expression grew serious a

  • Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother   Pack Names and New Beginnings

**(Elara's POV)**I arrived at Foster Pack Enterprises early, clutching my new ID. The name "Elara Foster" stared back at me."The old Elara Rivers is dead," I whispered. "The one returning now is Elara Foster.""Morning, Miss!" Olivia Hayes laughed, embracing me from behind. "I'm here to start my new job!"I pushed her away, smiling. "You left Silver Moon Boutique? You were den manager there!""That place had no future. You need capable wolves, and I'm the best you'll find."Olivia was perfect for our territory project department. James supported all my recruitment efforts since learning I was his sister."Report to Pack Resources den," I told her. "Straight ahead, then turn right."Olivia grinned. "Did you try those hunting tutorials I sent? Any pup news?"My face burned red. "Those weren't for me - they were for Lucian!""Your mate spoils you," she laughed.I grew serious. "Olivia, you'll meet the wolf who loves you most. Don't give up, no matter how dark things get. He m

  • Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother   Pack Schemes and Broken Bonds

**(Madam Evergreen's POV)**My eyes widened as Madam Evelyn Foster's words hit me like a silver blade. "You're finally going to sever your mate bond with Harold?"The luxury SUV hummed quietly as we traveled through Ocean City's moonlit streets. Elara had fallen asleep against her mother's shoulder, exhausted from the evening's chaos."It's the only way," Madam Evelyn said, her voice carrying steel determination I hadn't heard in years. "If Harold gains nothing from our bond severance, Diana Reed will become the most anxious wolf in the pack."I studied my oldest friend's profile in the dim light. "You think exposing her desperation will finally open Harold's eyes to her true nature?""Diana has been pulling his strings for decades," Madam Evelyn replied coldly. "When she realizes her meal ticket is disappearing, she'll reveal exactly what kind of wolf she really is."A sigh escaped my lips despite my support for her decision. "Evelyn, I have to ask... is Alpha Hale influencing t

  • Alpha's Regret After I Mated to His Brother   Pack Ambush and Hidden Identities

**(Alpha Hale's POV)**Cold water crashed over my face like a silver blade, jolting me back to consciousness. My head throbbed with excruciating pain as I tried to focus my vision. The abandoned den around me reeked of decay and rogue wolf scent. Rusted chains bound my wrists to a concrete pillar, the metal biting into my skin."Well, well. Look who's finally awake."The voice sent ice through my veins. I knew that gravelly tone, that predatory smile. Kane Silver stepped into the dim moonlight filtering through broken windows.Twenty years hadn't been kind to the rogue wolf mercenary. His fur was grayer now, scarred from countless territorial disputes. But those cold eyes remained unchanged - the same eyes that had tried to silver-burn Madam Evelyn all those hunting seasons ago."Surprised to see me alive, Thomas?" Kane's laugh was sharp and cruel. "I heard you took a silver bullet for that Foster she-wolf back then. Thought you were feeding the moonworms by now."My mind raced

**(Madam Evelyn's POV)**I lowered my head and stayed silent. Harold's presence in our SUV made my skin crawl."Harold, stop hanging around. There's no room," Madam Evergreen snapped.Harold's face turned red. "If there's no room, go ride Alpha Evergreen's SUV! We are pack going home together. Why is he butting in?""Your thick skin knows no bounds," Madam Evergreen shot back.Harold refused to leave. I felt trapped and absolutely would not share space with him anymore.I turned to Alpha Hale. "Is your SUV available?"His eyes lit up with excitement. "Of course! Right over there."He pointed to a black vehicle nearby, practically vibrating with joy.I nodded. "Fine. I'll ride with you."Alpha Hale walked me to his transport. He gestured to his territory guardian, who immediately understood."Alpha, I feel sick. Terrible stomach ache," the guardian said, clutching his belly.Alpha Hale looked disgusted. "Pathetic. Give me the keys and get to a healer."The guardian handed o

**(Harold's POV)**I saw that tall figure beside Madam Evelyn and my blood froze. Recognition hit me like silver."Thomas Reed!" I snarled. "You dare return to our territory!"The wolf looked at me calmly. "Elder Foster, it's been a long hunt."His casual tone made my rage burn hotter. How dare he act so calm?"Territory guardians!" I barked. "Throw this territory-less omega out!"The guardians moved forward hesitantly. Thomas Reed simply smiled, making no move to resist.I didn't know this wolf wasn't actually Thomas Reed. My disconnection from Foster Pack business meant I was unaware of Alpha Evergreen's true identity."Remove this intruder!" I shouted.**(God's POV)**Madam Evergreen emerged with a sardonic smile."Harold, you look terrible," she said. "Go sit with your mistress instead of making a scene."Harold's anger flared. "I'll take his life myself!"Madam Evergreen pulled out a hunting knife. "He's right here. Cross him into the eternal hunting grounds if you're
