RAVEN POV

Opening my eyes on the bed, there was a man seated next to me on the bed. “Logan?” Smiling, I tried to sit up but he stopped me before I could. “No, I'm strong. I want to leave this hospital already. Can't you see? It's almost a week.”

He smiled and gave me a nod. “The doctor says we can leave already. Are you sure you're ready to leave?” He relaxed back on his chair and let me sit up finally. “I got the stuff you asked me to get. At least you don't need to go to the mall anymore. Call on me and I'll be there.”

I was going to reply to that, but a hand on the door thwarted my attention.

I looked at the door and Logan asked that they come in - whoever that was. When it opened, there was Doctor Martin and a nurse. The younger woman who had taken my blood sample the other day.
