MIA:

Jackson was as surprised as I was. I could see that shock in his eyes when I asked him about his men.

"What are you talking about? The job should have been done by now, Mia so what are you talking about?"

I almost raised my hand again to slap him, but I held myself back from doing so. I took a deep breath in, and spoke, "Are you kidding me? Call those darn boys and ask them why the fuck they weren't answering my calls. I need to know what's going on because I'm slowly losing my mind right here. I need to know my next step. Elena can't be here! She fucking can't!"

"Take it easy Mia, just be cool. I'll check up on them now."

He turned and then called some of the boys outside. "Check up on the boys right now."

I was waiting, and about five minutes later, the men he had ordered to call his boys walked in. "All switched off." He said. "I fucking told you, Jackson, what's going on? Please check on them. If Elena finds out what happened, I'll be good as dead. I can't have her find out."
