Ludwig shook his head, sitting about twenty feet away in a small tavern opposite to her shop. He was itching to see her again—those beautiful golden hair and blue eyes, which haunted him every waking hour and every sleeping spell. He was now her official stalker. He thought that he was looking for some sort of distraction. His beta suggested that he should vent his frustration out with other maids at the castle since his beta thought that he was missing Zoe. However, the only distraction that he wanted was the one who was working in the antique shop.

The black shirt he was wearing was held by one button in the center and it was torn on the side. The crimson blood smudged his skin, but there was no visible wound, only a slight cut on his biceps.
