Paris was shaking, she could not wait for the end of the blood trail Mirrod was demonstrating. She had to leave and so she did. The Carter mansion has never been so quiet, while the pack celebrated the crowning of the new Alpha, everyone within the Carter home was rather sad. Paris had barely gotten some sleep, when she woke up sweating profusely. She sat up, turning the table lamp glazing over the wall and checking the time. It was only a quarter to midnight. She wears a warm coat over her transparent nightgown walking over to her balcony which faces the greater path of the pack. Everyone was still celebrating, she could hear the countless cheers as men dipped themselves in alcohol while the wolves danced to their gratification. She held onto her little baby bum which was now visible at a closer look. ‘’Why is this happening to me? Why now when I have given everything to him?’’ she laments to the moon. Everyone was fast asleep yet she could not get some sleep. She desperately wanted it all to end. She wished she could go back to the time she had not known him, but now everything was rather too late.
