Alpha's True Mate
Alpha's True Mate
مؤلف: Ava

Chapter 1

مؤلف: Ava
My mate, Alpha Alex, had a wolf cursed at birth by a witch—unable to catch the scent of any she-wolf, doomed never to find his true mate.

He spent five long years searching for her, only to be met with nothing but disappointment. In the end, broken and exhausted, he gave up.

That was when he claimed me.

On the night of our bonding, he told me the truth.

"Fiona," he said quietly, "I had no choice. If the pack knew their Alpha couldn't even find his true mate, I'd become a disgrace in their eyes. So I chose you.

You are my selected mate—but I swear, no one will ever take your title.

You are my Luna.

Even if I one day find my true mate… that will never change."

But then he added, his voice distant and heavy:

"Even though I'm cursed… I must still try to find her.

I need to search every corner of the pack."

From that night onward, she-wolves began appearing at our den one after another—every day, without fail.

Some were shy, some bold. Some came bearing gifts, others with longing in their eyes.

But all of them came for one reason: to see if they were his mate.

And I? I could only watch in silence—his Luna in name, but never truly in heart.

Because I knew there was nothing I could do to change his behavior. I had lost count of how many times I cried and begged him to stop—but still, every night, he brought different young she-wolves into our den.

I once thought he'd eventually grow tired of it, that he would stop one day. Until he brought home three young she-wolves from the werewolf club. He paid far more than other alphas for their first night. Why? Because a witch told him that only sharing a night with more than two virgin she-wolves from the same bloodline could awaken his wolf's dormant sense—and help him find his true mate.

To Alex, the three sisters were a gift from the Moon Goddess. A miracle. His last chance to break the curse. He brought them back without hesitation.

"Fiona, don't worry," he told me. "This will be the last time. Once my wolf regains his sense of scent, it will all be over."

But things didn't go as planned. He became addicted to the three omega sisters. Their wolves couldn't withstand the strength of an Alpha day and night. Eventually, all three collapsed and were sent to the infirmary.

And then they used that chance to threaten him. They claimed he had taken their first nights—no other wolves would want them now. So, he had to choose one of them as Luna. Or else… they'd disappear and never let him find them again.

So he turned to me, gently. Comfortingly. As if what he was about to ask wasn't tearing my soul apart.

"Fiona… let's temporarily sever our bond. You know this is my only chance. Once my wolf awakens and finds his true mate, I'll reclaim you—I promise. You'll be Luna again."

I nodded silently, forcing a bitter smile, watching his shadow as he prepared for his bonding ceremony… with them.

Because what he didn't know was—

The true mate he had searched for all these years… was me.

But I would never return to him again.

And by the time he finally found out the truth—

It was already too late.

......

After walking out of the Werewolf Council, Alex immediately texted the three she-wolves with excitement—telling them the "good news."

Then he turned to me, his voice awkward, unsure.

"Fiona, I promise I'll come back to reclaim you once my wolf regains his sense of scent. It won't take long… just wait for me."

"I understand," I replied softly.

But deep down, I knew the truth—

There would never be a future for us.

Watching his silhouette disappear into the distance, so full of joy and hope, I realized: in his mind, nothing had changed. He still believed I'd be waiting when this was over.

I remembered the night of our bonding ceremony. How he'd explained everything to me:

"Fiona, I was cursed as a pup. My wolf can't sense his mate. That's why I have to try—try everything. As an Alpha, it's humiliating. If word spreads that I can't find my true mate, I'll lose all respect from the other packs. So I must search. No matter the method."

And so I endured it all. I watched him bring in one young she-wolf after another, hoping each time she would be the one.

Until last week.

He met a witch—somewhere—who told him that the curse could be broken by sleeping with more than two virgin she-wolves from the same bloodline. And only then would his wolf's senses return.

So Alex searched through every known pack… until he found them. Three sisters.

In a werewolf club.

He paid more than any other Alpha had ever offered for their first nights. And the moment he secured them, he brought them straight to our den.

From that day on, our home became his playground. The gardens, the parking lot, the bathtub—even the kitchen… every corner turned into a stage for his lust.

I watched it all, silently.

I smiled through the pain. I cried in silence. And I never blamed him. Not once.

But the three omega sisters weren't strong enough. Their wolves were too weak to endure the intensity of an Alpha. They collapsed—drained and broken—and had to be rushed to the infirmary.

As Luna, I did what I had to do. I silenced the scandal. I protected his name. I kept the truth hidden from the werewolf journalists and the rest of the pack.

But no one—not even Alex—noticed what I'd lost in the process.

My pride. My faith. My love.

But even after the three she-wolves were discharged from the infirmary, Alex didn't stop.

He began catering to their every whim, listening to every word as if it were a royal decree.

Jessica, the eldest, said she wanted a space to raise cats.

So Alex ordered the servants to uproot all the flowers I had planted with care, rebuilt the entire area, and filled it with all kinds of cats.

Catherine, the second, complained that their bedroom was too small and poorly lit.

So Alex gently asked me to move out of my bright, spacious suite—the one that once belonged to the Luna—and gave it to them.

Elsa, the youngest, loved mangoes.

So Alex instructed the chef to buy crates of mangoes and prepare every type of mango dessert imaginable, completely ignoring the fact that my wolf was allergic to mangoes.

Every time I accidentally touched mango—triggering suffocation and pain—Alex would simply pat my back and say:

"Fiona, it'll be over soon. You don't mind a little discomfort, do you?"

But eventually, even the pretense ended.

When the three omega sisters cried and begged to be claimed as his mates—or else they'd leave—Alex made his choice.

He took me to the Werewolf Council… to sever our bond.

Of course, it had always been a lie.

I was just an extra wolf in this den—a placeholder Luna.

On the ride home, I sat silently in the passenger seat.

My hands folded over my lap, eyes hollow, tears slipping down onto the fabric of my dress.

I thought I had found my true mate.

I thought fate had smiled on me.

But it was just a cruel joke.

He never sensed that I was the one the Moon Goddess had blessed for him.

And I waited.

God, I waited.

For years, I believed there would be a day he'd turn around and realize—

"My true mate was beside me all along."

But no.

Reality was louder than faith.

And now, it didn't matter anymore.

Even if I was his true mate, I no longer wanted to be.

Suddenly, Alex's phone rang.

I knew that ringtone.

It was the special one he set… just for them.

"Alex, we lost our way in the woods,"

Elsa's trembling voice cried from the other end.

"There's no one here… just scary sounds. Please come find us. We're so scared…"

"I'll be there. Don't worry, Elsa," Alex said softly—his tone warm and tender.

Then he turned to me.

Cold. Distant. Harsh.

"Get out of the car. Walk home on your own."

I didn't say a word.

I got out, just like he ordered.

But I hadn't even taken two steps when—

BAM!

A truck slammed into me.

My body hit the ground hard. My wolf let out a cry, then… went silent.

My vision dimmed. The world faded. My eyes fluttered shut.

When I came to, I was lying in the infirmary.

A nurse hovered beside me, smiling with relief.

"It's good you're awake. Your wolf's not injured—just frightened."

"Are you feeling unwell? You can call your family to come take you home."

But just as I stirred, I heard Alex's voice nearby—on a call.

Then I heard her.

"Alex… don't rush. You might spoil the fun."

Catherine.

Sweet. Soft. Sly.

  • Alpha's True Mate   Chapter 9

"Luna—please!"Jessica's voice cracked as she dropped to her knees."It was us. We were the ones who hired those rogues to hurt you!"I froze. She looked up—and I inhaled sharply. That once-flawless face, once praised across every pack for its beauty, was now a grotesque canvas of scars. Jagged. Cruel. Raw.A punishment only an Alpha could order. Her body trembled violently. Tears streamed down her ruined face as she lowered her head to the marble floor again."We can't take it anymore! Alpha Alex… he tortures us every day—he slashed our faces, threw us into a viper pit… Please! I'm begging you—tell him to stop!"Beside her, the other two—Catherine and Elsa—knelt as well, sobbing, banging their foreheads against the ground until skin split and blood spilled. The sound of bone on stone echoed in my ears.My wolf stirred, unsettled. My chest tightened. Satisfaction? Disgust? Pity?Even I couldn't tell. Then came that presence—heavy. Suffocating. All too familiar.Alex.He stepped into vi

I looked up—and there he was.On the yacht anchored just across the harbor, Alex stood frozen, his eyes locked on us like a predator who'd just found his prey. His jaw tightened. Then—crash. The glass in his hand exploded against the deck, shattering into a thousand pieces, drawing startled glances from the guests around him.I turned away from the fire in his gaze."Let's go, Luke," I said softly, but firmly. The cruise ship began to pull away, slowly slicing through the moonlit waves. But his eyes didn't leave me—not for a second. His alpha aura, once magnetic, now felt suffocating… like something toxic trailing behind us, refusing to let go.A few days later, I stopped by Luke's company to deliver some documents. As I pushed open his office door, my heart stopped.Alex was there.Flanked by a group of his enforcers, his scent thick in the air—dominant, bitter, uninvited. It was the weekend, and the office was nearly empty. The energy inside, however, was charged. Electric. Dangerous

  • Alpha's True Mate   Chapter 7

On the day Alex celebrated his grand Luna Bonding Ceremony, I was lying in the infirmary, fighting for my life.Twenty days later, I was finally transferred to a general ward. Through the haze of medication and weakness, I caught a glimpse of a familiar figure near the window—the rogue driver who had struck me.He stood stiffly, nerves coiling in his posture, lips parted but no words came. Then the door opened.A tall wolf stepped inside, his broad frame outlined by the sterile light from the hallway. His alpha aura hit the room like a pressure wave. His voice, though calm, cut through the air like ice."You hit Fiona and didn't report it?!"The driver wiped the sweat beading on his forehead and bowed his head."I'm sorry… I didn't realize she was the one you've been searching for..."I couldn't make out the face of the man who had just arrived, but I heard it—the voice that called to me, low and trembling, yet filled with something deeper."Fiona…"I wanted to move, to open my eyes, t

The call came back fast."No travel logs for Luna. As for the guards… they vanished the next day."Alex's growl rumbled through the room like distant thunder."Keep searching!"Seven days passed.Still, no sign of Fiona. His phone buzzed constantly.Jessica. Elsa. Catherine.Their names blinked on the screen like flies circling decay. He tapped mute and hurled the phone onto the couch. The packhouse, once vibrant with Fiona's warmth, now echoed with emptiness.Gleaming obsidian floors, howling wolf-head chandeliers, imported fur-lined drapes—it all felt hollow.Every trace of her had been erased. The forest-scented candles she loved? Gone. The moss-green walls she painted herself? Covered in blood-red velvet. The armchair where her cat used to sleep? Burned in the firepit out back. Then—the doorbell rang.Alex opened it.The three sisters stood on the threshold, glittering in gold dresses, perfume choking the air."Alpha~" Jessica purred, slinking up his side."You haven't called us in

  • Alpha's True Mate   Chapter 5

After bonding with the three sisters at a secluded temple far from the pack, Alex officially had new mates. Days were filled with lavish shopping sprees; nights drowned in indulgence and excess. The sisters pulled out all the stops to please him—seduction, flattery, endless games. They tore through boxes of protection each night like it was a performance they had rehearsed for their entire lives. The day before they were set to return, Alex gifted each of them a designer moon dress tailored for their upcoming Luna ceremony. At the airport, just as they were waiting to board, something caught his eye—a plush toy shaped like a cartoon character I used to adore."Why are you buying that?" Elsa asked in a sugary voice, clinging to his arm.Alex didn't answer. His brows furrowed.Almost on instinct, he pulled out his phone and typed:"I'm back. Pick me up at the airport."The moment he hit send, his phone died. For the entire twelve-hour flight, he sat still, eyes fixed on the clouds beyond

Then Alex's voice exploded like a firecracker."Fiona, come to the club. Now. Or you'll regret it for the rest of your life."Hearing this, I didn't hesitate. I rushed out of the hospital without even changing out of my hospital gown. When I arrived at the club, Alex was slouched on the velvet sofa, a glass of wine in his hand, legs lazily crossed. He looked up and smirked, sipping his drink with a cold glint in his eyes."I warned you not to make trouble, Fiona. But you just can't help yourself, can you?"He stood up and slowly walked toward me, each step full of menace.I took a step back and demanded, voice trembling,"Where is my father? Did you do something to him?"My heart thudded painfully. Deep down, I already knew the answer.Alex didn't reply. Instead, his hand suddenly shot out and grabbed my jaw—hard. His grip was bruising."Where are the three sisters? Tell me now, or I swear, I'll kill you!"I struggled against him, tears stinging my eyes from the pain."I—I don't know!
